  Petco was an easy stop when I needed to pick up a few things for my pet. I grabbed food, checked out the treat aisle, and found a couple of toys without having to search too much. The store was easy to get around, and it made the whole errand pretty simple.

  The young cashier told me today that if I want to purchase crickets, I now have to walk around the store and find an employee because employees are no longer in the fish/small animal section (where the crickets are.) So crazy how things have changed over the last few years. There were *multiple* customers in the back of the store looking at the fish and small animals, yet there wasn’t an employee to help. I completely understand that they may be busy helping other customers, but if that’s the case, Petco needs to start scheduling more than 3 employees to run a massive store and assist 25+ customers at once. This isn’t the employees fault as it's an understaffing issue. They can only be in one place at a time. Customers shouldn’t have to wander around a large **newly renovated** store searching for someone just to purchase something that requires assistance. Maybe I'm just very irritated right now because it's at least 77° inside of that place. Turn the AC on and hire more people!!!

  We have used this location for 8 years and were beyond disappointed and shocked by how much the grooming department has changed. When I booked an appointment online, there was a place for reminders. I wrote how our dog has never been crated because our usual stylists were not listed. My husband received a call yesterday reminding us of the appointment. When arriving today, the girl told him she’d give our dog his 5-10 minute bath, put our dog in a crate, do his nails, and then we could come back at 2 from our 9 am appt. Our appointments have never taken more than 20 minutes and this didn’t make any sense at all. My husband left and called another PetCo who immediately took us in and did not need to use the crate. We will not be returning to this location.
