  Our senior dog was in crisis with (potentially) aspiration pneumonia. We arrived at 9:18 p.m.. (hours listed open till 10:00 for emergency vet services). Our senior dog is a giant breed and it was much to do and very stressful on him to get him out of the car and into the door . Upon arriving , the front desk person greeted us , went behind closed doors to check with the vet . Shortly thereafter, we were told that our time of arrival was too late , that they already had an animal in the back that they were working with, and finally recommended we leave and go somewhere else. Furthermore, they didn't let us depart in our state of panic and frustration without delivering an admonishment, ," you should have called first". So, what this clinic actually offers is , emergency vet services, as long as it is not too close to quitting time AND as long as someone else didn't get there first. Oh, and when you are in crisis with your dying 4 legged family member, be sure to call and check the queue or else be prepared to kick rocks Big. Fat. Nope.

  I’m not really sure what time they close but My little one hurt his left front leg really bad we called at 8 o’clock to see if they could see him and they said yes now is a perfect time because there’s no one here so if you come now we will be able to see you right away and they were they right away. Saw us the doctor. Please forgive me. I do not remember her name, but she is fantastic her aid please forgive me. I don’t remember her name. She was also fantastic. We were in. It seemed like it was very fast, but it wasn’t because they sat down with us and talked with us about his wound about the medicine they were going to put him on. They took him back and cleaned it up and shave the hair around it. I was expecting you hear the word hospital you’re gonna be there forever but we weren’t. They were very thorough very friendly, extremely friendly So if you’re anything like me and you are afraid to take your little one to the hospital, this is the hospital to go to. They made me feel very comfortable and they took great care of him. Thank you so very much like I said please forgive me. I don’t remember the doctor’s name or the aid but they were wonderful..

  They took such great care of my dog and all of the staff was amazing to work with! We were originally quoted 9k-12k at two other clinics for my dogs emergency surgery and they were not only able to do it that same night but at a fourth of the cost! I can’t thank this clinic enough, if it wasn’t for them my dog wouldn’t be here with us. ❤️

  I had an absolute amazing experience today at arrowhead! My 15 year old baby Bella has been sick for 4 days.They really took the time to listen and reassure me she's going to be okay. Dr. Thornton and the nurse were so kind to me and especially to Bella. Bella is only 4 lbs and the gentleness they had with her was a relief. I usually take my dogs to another vet for their regular needs but after today I think Arrowhead will be our new spot. I have never felt as comfortable at our regular vet as I did today. Thank you ladies so much!

  I have been taking both my cat and my dog here for about 6 years now. I absolutely love the all of the vets we have seen. The front staff is always polite and so helpful, especially Tyler, he is just about the nicest person you could meet; definitely a wonderful voice to hear on the phone and face to greet you upon arrival. Recently, my dog Hadley had her second experience with a ruptured CCL. She had TPLO surgery back in April and has not been healing quite as quickly as we would like. Dr. Garcia has been so great with helping me understand what that means and what steps I can take to help give Hadley everything she needs to keep the healing move along. Even when I give way too much explanation, back story, or ask dozens of questions. The vet techs are always so wonderful and patient with Hadley too. She is quite friendly and so happy to say hi to all of the staff and meet new friends, until she needs to be taken in the back for any reason, big or small. I can never thank them enough for handling her coming out of anesthesia with nothing but patience and grace. Hadley essentially forces herself to wake up quickly once the process of coming out of it is started, post procedure. She then sings the song of her people (out of tune and on full volume) demanding to be reunited with mom. They always schedule me first thing and on days I work from home so I can come "rescue" her (more like rescue them from her cries) the moment they are comfortable with her safely being discharged. They never complain or act like they are anything but happy to have her. I would definitely recommend them to anyone!
