This was our second time having our Australian Shepherd groomed here. The staff is so kind, helpful and professional. Communication is wonderful. They did a great job grooming him and we will definitely use them again!
Blu looks amazing and is trimmed exactly how we planned. Fantastic groomer! Thank You!

UPDATE: I will add that I was very pleasantly surprised to find our payment refunded in my bank account this week. That was unexpected. Thank you to the Scruffy's owner for that. I appreciate it.
If I could give zero stars, I would, and I rarely leave negative reviews for anyone. My dog has high anxiety and for some reason when my son took her there this time she really didn't want to be there and was very upset and nipping/biting. I understand this is difficult for the groomers. But instead of reaching out to let us know what was happening, they tried to persist. My dog ended up with a cut on her face from the clippers, a shave that was way too close, and one leg that wasn't done at all. They didn't bathe her, do her nails or teeth (understandably) but still charged us full price. I know my dog can be difficult (she is 16 an deaf), but our previous groomer across town before we moved was always able to keep her calm, get the job done, and have her looking pretty. When I called to talk to Scruffy's and address even the rude way they had spoken to my son ("Not to be rude, but....." -- When someone says that, you know they are about to be rude), when I challenged her defense of how they treated my dog, she started yelling at me about how difficult my dog is and how she comes in matted, and then yelled that she was firing me as a client and hung up on me. Yes, my dog does get a bit matted. But it has never been an issue with her previous groomer, and they never shaved her so close to her skin. I'm sorry, but as traumatized as the dog was when she got home, and as horrible as she looks, I don't think all the fault is with the dog and with me. At the least, they should have only charged us for what they actually accomplished. I will be going back across town to our old groomer (A Clip Above in Highlands Ranch) so that my pup gets to be with people who truly care about her and are kind to both dogs and people.

We have been looking for a new groomer for our big Pyrenees for some time now. We used to go to the other groomer right down the street from Scruffy’s… IYKYK.. the owner of the other place used to make our dog so anxious with his energy, so they charged us more for an “express” groom, stating he was too anxious to be there for more than exactly the amount of time needed to groom him. Well, not as Scruffy’s! They were so welcoming, sweet, and caring with our dog and he was not anxious, whiny, or displayed any of the same behavior I saw at this competing groomer’s.
We got lucky enough to get Jason as our groomer for the day and we will request him next time, as we will absolutely be repeat customers! He was so sweet with our boy, and really did a great job. Thank you, Scruffy’s staff! yall rock

So I’ll start this off by dying if there was a half a star I’d do 3.5. I went there first for a quick nail trim and I will say that experience was 5 star. I decided to go for a groom because the nail trim went well. I will say this was on a Friday at noon, gotta give them credit where credit is due. I arrived 10 min before the appointment and made sure my dog was walked and happy. We went in, again have to give them credit there was a doodle screaming and howling that their owner was leaving. A little chaotic and the girl who was helping me was like oh we are going to do the de shed again? I’ve never been there before so it was a little bit of a red flag. Again, there was a lot of chaos and noise. I informed her I’ve never been here and she looked a little, idk, annoyed or careless. Anyhow, it was a little bit of a red flag but she recovered quickly and was very sweet. She put my dog in the holding area. Appointments on line say about an hour or so and she said they would give me a call about 20 min before my dog was done. Ok fine. About an hour and 45 minutes later I got a call my dog would be ready in 30 minutes. I was already a little worried when she said again when my dog has never been there before so I was a little worried in general. I asked the person who called why it took so long it was quoted about an hour, she said yeah about an hour in a little bit of a tone. I think she caught herself because she then explained how long it takes to dry and the amount of dogs and this and that. It was a Friday and they were busy, my dog takes about 20 minutes to dry I usually do it myself at a self serve type of dog wash. I think my dog may have sat in a holding area for a bit and then was finally taken in. Idk for sure so take that as my general thought. They did a great job on my dogs coat and were about $100 for a pup wash and de shed. Just didn’t love the vibe and my gut was telling me it was off. If this was a car wash I’d say 5 stars. My dog is my baby so I’m prob not going to return.
