- THTom Higgins2 days ago1.0My daughter is traveling in Europe and we are watching her dog. Her dog's primary Banfield Pet Hospital is in the city she lives. This location refused to provide the heart medication she needs and would not fill here (even though there are refills available). But they did say I could get ahold of the other Banfield Pet Hospital and they could transfer to a human prescription location, but they would not do it unless I paid them for a pet evaluation visit. Absolutely terrible customer service. Just be careful using them. Obiously their business model is about maximizing visits and charging for unnecesarry things, not about the animal and what's best for them. Terrible customer service, only about making $$
- CCCosmic CherryJun 20, 20265.0First time at this location. Better than other Banfield's. Who ever is doing the teeth cleaning is really good at their job. I was nervous about them keep talking about teeth extractions constantly and being pushy about it when they never even seen the dog before. They need to change this as it may drive people away, kinda like calling a dentist office to get a routine cleaning and the front desk lady keeps offering to do teeth pulling, would that make you want to continue to get the cleaning done, I don't think so. Just offering some advice. They treated my doggy like he was their own. I'll come again.

I’m so grateful to everyone I encountered, From the office managers that helped calm me down and get my dog into the office, to the nurse who checked her in and was so thorough and kind. Lastly the doctor who so kindly explained our options, & was the one who was there when we said goodbye to our family member. Thank you all from the bottom of my heart.

What is an Optimum Wellness Plan?
Optimum Wellness Plans are designed to provide annual preventive care. They include head-to-tail exams, vaccines, early screening diagnostics, consultations for proper nutrition, dental care and more! Since wellness plans are not insurance, they do not include treatment for unpredictable or abnormal conditions, however discounts would apply. Because pets need ongoing preventive care, wellness plans automatically renew at the end of each twelve month period (unless paid in full at enrollment).
How do I pay for an Optimum Wellness Plan?
You can spread the cost of your wellness plan across the 12 months of your annual agreement to make it easier to budget for the essential health care your pet needs. Your monthly payments can be automatically withdrawn from a checking or savings account or charged to a credit card so that you don’t have to worry about them once you enroll. We also offer the option of paying in full if you prefer.
What kind of appointment do I have?
• In-room appointments: You and your pet visit the vet together. Please arrive a few minutes before your appointment time
• Drop-off appointments: If you have a drop-off appointment, we will communicate a time to drop off your pet. Keep your phone nearby and we’ll call you when your pet is ready for pickup.
• Optimum Wellness Plans® Virtual Visits: If you have an Optimum Wellness Plan and scheduled a Virtual Visit, you’ll save valuable time and get quality care from the comfort of your home.

No, Banfield Pet Hospital does not provide emergency care services. However, during hospital hours you can call for urgent care advice and referrals to emergency hospitals if needed.
