  Horrible Customer service on May 17th 2026 where I was discriminated against and not allowed to buy a lizard that everyone else is allowed to buy The employees are condescending, rude, disrespectful, and overstep boundaries. Horrible experience for my children. My son left the store crying because he was so excited to buy a lizard and they turned us away because we wanted to get a starter set up and eventually upgrade but we didn’t want to Get the adult enclosure right away for a juvenile lizard. Lexi is a terrible employee and so are all of your other little Condescending Rude and disrespect disrespectful employees This store needs a whole staff change out

  I have visited the fish department numerous times and you have an outstanding employee by the name of Lexi which has helped me many questions and choices. She always has a smile and uplifting attitude she must thoroughly enjoy her job because she has went above and beyond. A lot of other stores I have went into has not helped me or answered my questions like Lexi has done every time I have been in there She is the reason why I keep coming back.

  Today I went into petco to look into some new bedding and maybe a new tank for our turtle rescue who is in rough shape and Lexie was just an absolute godsend. She was able to point me in the direction of better options for our turtle, took the time to explain the different lighting, foods, environment requirements and so many other things I had no idea about. It made me feel so much better to get information from an obvious animal enthusiast you loves animals with all her heart and just wants the best for them. Petco has an absolute gem working for them and because of our experience we will be returning customers. Thank you Lexie!!

  the staff at the petco at grand junction are Beyond helpful, Lexie and the other staff are always welcoming and open to questions. they have helped me multiple times in the fish section i am beyond thankful!

  We purchased an adorable guiena pig!! I accidently left my phone in the cart, & the very kind cashier found it & saved it for me when I returned in a panic 15 minutes later. THANK YOU SO MUCH. I dont remember his name, but a tall gentleman working on Sunday evening. You're a life saver.
