- DBDJ BaconOct 2, 20265.0I really feel as though the folks that work here at Banfield truly care about my dachshund boys. Every time I bring them in, they gush over them and thoroughly go over the treatment, questions I may have and their health. I really appreciate how they communicate with me about how I can best take care of my baby boys. I trust the Doctors and vet techs here with my little guys! They also got a new receptionist/ vet tech (Tara); she is amazing, welcoming and very communicative. I also like how I can schedule their appointments online. I would recommend this vet office and will be coming back for many years. Thank you!

She's had the shot spot for 3 weeks now and it's hard and very obvious. The spot isn't the concern. The concern is if I take my dog back is this going to happen again? The solution... Bring the dog in and PAY for them to look at it. I'm very disappointed in the way her first shots turned out. Best to find a new vet they don't offer solutions.

Their website doesn’t work and no one picks up the phone, ever. I tried over the course of a week at different times because I assumed “maybe my wifi is bad” or “maybe they are busy rn” But it genuinely does not matter what time of day you dedicate to trying to get a hold of someone, nobody is picking up that phone 💀 I had to schedule with another vet to see my cat bc this place is not reliable (I recommend plum creek vet or castle pines vet, they’re nice, quick and pick up the phone lmao)

What is an Optimum Wellness Plan?
Optimum Wellness Plans are designed to provide annual preventive care. They include head-to-tail exams, vaccines, early screening diagnostics, consultations for proper nutrition, dental care and more! Since wellness plans are not insurance, they do not include treatment for unpredictable or abnormal conditions, however discounts would apply. Because pets need ongoing preventive care, wellness plans automatically renew at the end of each twelve month period (unless paid in full at enrollment).
How do I pay for an Optimum Wellness Plan?
You can spread the cost of your wellness plan across the 12 months of your annual agreement to make it easier to budget for the essential health care your pet needs. Your monthly payments can be automatically withdrawn from a checking or savings account or charged to a credit card so that you don’t have to worry about them once you enroll. We also offer the option of paying in full if you prefer.
What kind of appointment do I have?
• In-room appointments: You and your pet visit the vet together. Please arrive a few minutes before your appointment time
• Drop-off appointments: If you have a drop-off appointment, we will communicate a time to drop off your pet. Keep your phone nearby and we’ll call you when your pet is ready for pickup.
• Optimum Wellness Plans® Virtual Visits: If you have an Optimum Wellness Plan and scheduled a Virtual Visit, you’ll save valuable time and get quality care from the comfort of your home.
