Tried to adopt a cat after one hour I was told I needed a copy of my lease to show I could have an animal. Seriously my cat of 20 years died I told them that I have been in the same apt for 8 years, Im month to month, no lease. My landlord is in yellowstone on vacation, The staff opened the cubby the cat was in to show me what the cat looked like then shut it. Two cats were up for adoption I was never offered an opportunity to hold either one or visit with either one.Really? Do better! I went to Longmont humane society and adopted a cat. Got to go in a room with it and got to visit, no lease requirements, Im an adult! If I say I can have a cat in my apt that should be good enough for Petco! I'm really disappointed, I have adopted from that actual petco before, she was 10 when I got her, died at 26. Shame on you Petco, your staff is seriously lacking in attentiveness and customer service. Consistently trying to track someone down to get paperwork, turn in paperwork, find out where they went, whats going on, after an hour we were told about the lease. Not good Petco, Not good!

I went at 2:15 pm or so as the Meow Market event was taking place. I went the prior week too! I love to try samples for my cats who are picky eaters. I bought items both times (including canned items sampled from the week before that the cats liked, cat litter, dry food too). The only thing is, the sample table was not open at 2 pm as advertised (on either week). It was more like 2:30 or later. I ended up asking about it both times just after 2 pm and planned my shopping around it. Not a big deal, but the rep wasn't that welcoming either. The cashier; however, was great and very friendly and helpful.

If you go into the store the people that work inside are friendly and nice. Now if you order online pick up 80% of the time you will sit outside for over 20 mins. Refreshing the "im here to pick up button". Then eventually you still have to go inside and get your bag of dog food.. unless you want to sit outside longer pretending they will eventually bring your stuff out.. curb side is 100% joke at this location. The only reason i do it is cuz you can get 10%-20% off..
