    Facility is clean, no funny odors. Staff is friendly and helpful. All of my questions were answered, everything was explained so that I understood what was going on with my baby. My fur baby, who usually doesn't like strangers, was comfortable with all the staff..I am very satisfied with my visit and I highly recommend this facility.

    Sadly we had a horrible experience today. We showed up to an appointment made for my dog. I had my sibling go in before me to get a muzzle for my dog to keep him and others safe and she returns to tell me they are refusing to see my dog. As any adult would do I go in to get clarification and get to meet the rudest vet tech I have ever met. I understand if the staff does not feel safe dealing with a big dog that reacts (bites) when he is scared but she should have been polite explained the situation and left it at that. Instead she was brief rude and clearly upset. She waits until the end of the conversation to say the staff would not see him as they were nervous to be around him as last time he was there he would not comply with staff and snipped at staff. I did not go in there to argue but rather to get the full picture and call it a day. I did not get her name but she was a larger woman with really dark filled in eye brows and was a vet tech. I hope the clinic does something to fix this and that she treats the next customer better and gives them a more pleasant experience. The front staff was lovely and polite. She deserves a raise for dealing with that horrible environment the vet tech is creating.

    We are fostering pups that needed microchipped. I found out by accident that Petco offers FREE microchipping. I called first to verify, then made appointments. We showed up a little early to our appointments. There was already a line. Even though you have an appointment, they take you in order of FCFS at the door. A couple showed up that had missed their earlier appointment and demanded to be seen right away. Karen threw a fit when they were told they had to wait in line. Karen was also so loud the whole store could hear her. The staff were very tolerant and for everyone's mental health they put them in a room. Their showing up after missing their appointment threw the days schedule off, more than it was already. From what I gathered from the staff is that they only spend the morning at that location and then have to drive at a second vetco location for the afternoon. Petco is all about the bucks and tries to get in as many appointments as possible and schedules them for every 5 minutes and double books them knowing it takes a minimum of 15 for each appointment. There were three staff members there and they handled the stress really well. I was surprised how calm and collected they were in the midst of chaos. When we finally got into a room, the staff members were very friendly. I felt like I was at my normal vet for my dogs. Of course they were rushed, but they didn't let that stop them from giving us the great customer service. I tip my hat to them. The only reason that I'm giving them four stars instead of five has nothing to do with the service. It is entirely because Petco double books the appointments and they are only at 5 minutes each.

    We had 2 appointments this morning for our 2 dogs. We arrive a few minutes early only to be told we never confirmed our appointments. We asked what they meant, and they said they sent a confirmation, and because we didn't confirm, they scheduled other animals into our appointment times. We asked what phone number they sent the confirmation to, and it was a phone number we had prior to 2020... I know for a fact that we've updated this number with them because we've had several vet visits since then. They also have our email on file but said they will not send confirmations to emails. It would be beneficial to the business to try and reach the customer with a phone call if they don't confirm by text. Or, try by email. Had they done this, they would know they were using the incorrect number yet again. Very disappointed.
