- MMMarisela3 days ago1.0I would not recommend PETCO for grooming service. My dog is anxious and does not like to be in a kennel. I always asked that they call me 30 minutes before he is done. When I picked him up both his paws were bleeding nails were cracked and splitting. The groomer ( Jamie) said he was scratching the kennel pretty hard and he didn’t do anything about it. He just left him in there for a very long time. He kept him for 6 hours. It took the general manager Elaine 3 weeks to return my call and she only returned my called because I kept calling and complaining to the 1800 # She was rude and said “ my doodle has always been a problem and was being aggressive” So she would recommend a vet groomer. Never asked if my he was ok MY DOODLE HAS NEVER SHOWED SIGNS OF AGGRESSION his vet can verify. Every other time I picked him up from the same groomer he said he did good he did great. Save your pet a traumatic experience they don’t care for your pets
