  Pricing was the same for a 28 lb bag of food and a 30 lb bag. You’d think they would adjust the price for the lesser weight of dog food because the bag is older.

  I had the worst experience here. Not even a Month ago me and my siblings bought a cute little gray bird. As soon as we got him home we noticed that his wings were clipped and that he was extremely weak. To the point that he would get on my hand and I had to carry him to his food so that he could eat I own two other birds of the say breed and they are perfectly healthy but this bird as soon as we got him the associates were rough with him and knew no information about him. I am so frustrated and sad because today i woke up to my little bird dead at the floor of his cage. No one was able to help us more died they tell us how small he was and how unready he has to be sold. I hate that this happened and the fault of information and help that this pet smart provided.

  The young boy with the shoulder length brown hair had a terrible attitude and needs to find a different job. I called the store as requested to explain in detail the interaction and no accountability was taken from the store manager that I spoke with just a very sarcastic I'm sorry you felt that way... They could have started out by taking accountability for the poor customer service but instead put the blame on me for having feelings about it. You all need to work on your customer service and the smell in that store. It's quite honestly disgusting

  I would like to express my serious disappointment with the grooming service I received at PETCO. On August 19, I scheduled an appointment to have my dog bathed and groomed. The result was completely unacceptable and, in my opinion, showed a serious lack of professionalism and commitment to the quality of service PETCO claims to provide. I am attaching photos so people can clearly see how uneven and unfinished her haircut was. The staff explained that they were unable to finish the grooming properly because my dog was very nervous. I understand that every dog can react differently; however, PETCO provides professional grooming services, and I would expect its groomers to be trained to handle nervous or anxious pets appropriately and, most importantly, to know when to stop the service if an animal becomes too stressed. What concerns me the most is that when I picked her up, my dog was terrified and visibly distressed. Seeing her in that condition naturally makes me question what happened while she was in their care. To make matters worse, instead of apologizing or taking responsibility for a service that was clearly incomplete, I was told I would receive a “discount.” The original price was approximately $80, and they still wanted to charge me $70. Charging $70 for an unfinished grooming job that looked like this is completely unacceptable. I wasn't expecting a $10 discount. I expected professionalism, accountability, and, at the very least, a sincere apology for the poor service and the condition in which my dog was returned to me. I sincerely hope PETCO investigates what happened during my dog's appointment, including how she was handled, and takes the necessary steps to ensure that another pet and their owner do not have to go through a similar experience.
