  I had a very upsetting experience here today. My French bulldog had a 9:00 a.m. appointment for a suspected IVDD flare, and I arrived at 8:30. Several people who arrived after us were seen first, and after we were finally placed in an exam room, nearly an hour passed without a veterinarian examining or even touching my dog. My dog was visibly in significant pain—crying, trembling, making distressed sounds, and hiding underneath the bench. Despite this, the initial conversation focused on renewing a wellness plan and discussing a dental plan rather than assessing the urgent reason for our visit. After waiting for approximately an hour, I was then told that bloodwork needed to be drawn before the veterinarian would see her. I understand that bloodwork may be medically appropriate before prescribing certain medications, but I expected the veterinarian—or at minimum a qualified staff member—to first assess and triage a dog who was clearly suffering, and to explain the recommended course of care. The lack of urgency, communication, and compassion was extremely distressing. When an animal is visibly crying and shaking in pain, their immediate medical needs should come before discussions about additional plans or services. I hope the clinic reviews how painful and potentially urgent cases are handled.

  I have had great experiences here before but this time was different. My partner had to pick up my cat from her appointment because I had to go to work and I called to let him know we had a bill to pay and confirm the price. The person at the front desk decided this meant she needed to skip him and put him at the back of the line. I think this is very inappropriate as I needed to make sure what she was telling him matched the price I was told. Very rude and disrespectful. We will be driving to the further location going forward.

  I have been with Banfield since the early 2000s with all of my dogs. I have at least three at any given moment. I will never go to any Banfield ever again, but most definitely not this office. They have been absolutely atrocious and handling my elderly dog’s care. He is in palliative care dying from cancer and the treatment we have received at Banfield has been so horrific that I want to stop any person from taking their dogs to this clinic if you care about your animals. Not only are they poor caregivers but the front staff is extremely rude. If you are planning to see this veterinary clinic, please proceed with caution. I would go to any other clinic over this one with my loved animals. If you have a bad experience and would like to speak to a manager, they are full of excuses. Even if you simply ask for a call back from their staff, do not count on getting an answer. Again, this clinic is absolute garbage. I feel so strongly about this that I will make sure every day that my review is still there and not deleted by them. That is how poorly my family was treated.
