  I came in to buy goldfish. I waited in the fish section for awhile. I finally got their attention. All of the sales associates were chatting at the register. There were no fancy gold fish. So I decided to get two of the .49 fish. I was told no because I had a ten gallon tank. I said but they are feeder fish. So now I still need fish…..

  I had an experience with this locations manager I would call the worse I've ever had in my professional career and thats over 40 years. I had dropped my dog to be groomed at the assigned time. The receptionist asked if I wanted to be called or text. I chose to be texted. This is where this event starts. The groomer said I was early and that they were still working on another dog. I said no problem take your time and let me know when he's done. During this time I continued to check my text but none came. I received a call close to the salons closing stating my dog was ready and they wanted to make sure someone had let me know which they hadn't. I immediately went to the location to pick up my dog . Upon arrival I went into the salon but there was no one there. I then went to the cashier to get someone to help me. The manager came in and retrieved my dog she then immediately starts threatening me stating my dog had been there for over 4 hours and if it happened again he could not come again I was outraged my dog had not been there for 4 hours. She then said they had tried to call me several times and had sent me several text. Another lie. I showed her my phone log and text log which did not support what she said. I asked her to give me the times of the texts and calls which she wouldn't do and told me that was my phone providers error.She continued to be belligerent during this entire interaction. To say I was angry is an understatement . The blatant rudeness and lies set me off. So our interaction didn't end well. I'm tired of poor customer service and excuses from those who feel they have a right to be that way. If I was in the wrong I would accept it. But don't think because you are a manager you have a right to be disrespectful especially when you're wrong. Who knew that such a beautiful day would be ruined by someone I was paying for services.🤔 And here's the kicker. I'm a retired Customer Service Manager of a fortune 500 company so my tolerance for poor customer service is extremely low. Which is the reason for this lengthy review. And to make matters worse. My dog looked horrible!

  Great shopping experience at Petco. Needed supplies for our new pup and we got everything we needed. Plus a Dog Mom's Club shirt!
