  My dog was a small sized Maltese that was 9 years old, he had various health issues that he was born with including a liver problem, past seizures, and pneumonia. We’ve only gone to Banfield to have exams, but they always suggested to Neuter him. My family always declined their offers or suggestions because anesthesia gets to a Dogs liver. As of last night my little dog was in pain, he was stretched out on all four paws crying and struggling to breathe. We took him to PetSmart and they stabilized him, so he spent the night there. I woke up early this morning to my brother telling me to get dressed because our family decided to Euthanize him, because our only options were aggressive treatment that would leave him disabled. We watched the life fade from his eyes as we were all crying. We took him to Banfield for a teeth cleaning and they put him under anesthesia with the fact of his health issues. He seemed fine afterwords but that’s when his seizures happened. When my family brought him to PetSmart, the doctor basically told us that she didn’t wanna point fingers, but there were specialists that could’ve treated my dog without anesthesia. It was too late to save him because his seizure lasted an hour. The damage was done, and it was irreversible. He couldn’t even stand up when we said our goodbyes.

  Banfield Pet Hospital was open on a Saturday when our regualr Vet was not. They quickly saw our dog and treated her & addressed the issues. Banfield Pet Hospital in Walnut provided us with needed medication to take home for our pup as well as providing me with the infomation of how to use it. They also provided a cone for her so she would not lick her area of concern. Within 1 hour of being home from Banfield Pet Hospital in Walnut, CA, out pup was doing well and the next day, you would not even know she had an issue. So happy to have found Banfield Pet Hospital!

  Used to love this place because of its conveniency, until I get disgusted today. They've been rise their price for pets health plan without reminders and permission. They just decided to take away more and more money from my bank account without even announcing. Then today, they charged me 95 something dollars for picked up my cat at 7pm, which is right before they are closing. They were saying they close at 6, and after that they charge 95 something dollars per hour. That's even more expensive than human! What place is this? And I'm pretty sure this rule was not exist earlier this year. And I always picked my pet after 6 on their exam day, never got charged until today! When I got home, I saw my cat’s fur were pulled out and stuck on the zipper! Worst experience ever!!!
