  I brought my dog here for her first visit today, and I want to start by saying that I understand every business has busy days and that appointments can run close to closing time. My concern is not that the staff had a schedule to keep — my concern was the communication and the overall experience. Because this was my first visit, and because we were discussing potential procedures and costs, I came prepared with questions. I wanted to understand what was being recommended, why it was recommended, what was urgent, and what could wait. I believe that as a pet owner, I have a responsibility to make informed decisions about my dog’s care. Unfortunately, I felt like I had to ask every question myself instead of having the treatment plan explained to me. I was given estimates, but I did not feel like I received enough explanation about what each item was for or why it was being recommended. I found myself trying to piece everything together, which made the process take longer. As we got closer to closing, I felt rushed when I was trying to make a financial decision and apply for CareCredit. I completely understand not wanting staff to stay late, but I would have appreciated someone saying, “We’re getting close to closing, so let’s schedule a follow-up or have the doctor go over your questions with you so you feel comfortable moving forward.” I chose this clinic because of the positive reviews and wanted to give it a fair chance. I am not writing this review to discourage anyone from coming here. Every person should make their own decision and have their own experience. I simply hope this feedback helps improve communication with future clients, especially first-time patients who are trying to understand important decisions for their pets.

  I just called with a non emergency medical question, they asked if I could be placed on hold which I said was totally fine. After 5 minutes of hold music the phone rang again and just sent me to voice mail. No one called back. Very frustrating.

  Fantastic vet: practical, doesn't charge needlessly for things, and incredibly adaptive to every pet's individual needs. Both with my dog and my cat, they have been nothing short of exceptional. They are good at communication and able to see you consistently. I almost feel bad writing about it because they feel like the best-kept secret in the area.

  Dr. Wong, Evan and Carli were amazing. They were all incredibly kind, professional, and attentive. They made sure I understood everything and treated my pet with genuine care. I’m very grateful for the excellent service and compassion they showed

  Dr. Wong & Dr. Beam are warm and caring. The staff is efficient and respectful. I enjoy bringing our fur babies here for all their shots & checkups! Thank you Ygnacio Animal Hospital! 😊
