Thank you Inland Valley Veterinary Specialists for incredible care, respect, and sensitivity to my cat and our family during her final two days. When my 9-year-old cat became acutely ill with end-stage kidney failure, the entire staff, including the front desk team, and particularly Dr. Pegg and nurse Vivian, treated us with an extraordinary level of empathy. They were completely transparent and honest about her diagnostic results and costs of clinical interventions, walking us through her treatment option without ever making us feel rushed or pressured. Highly recommend them to anyone in need of emergency or critical veterinary care.

Don't go here. All they care about is emptying out your wallet, while they treat animal's and clients like dirt. This hospital shouldn't even exist. I hope whoever reads this is reading it BEFORE they think about bringing an animal to this dump. ANIMALS DESERVE BETTER

We came here because of an emergency and the staff was so kind! They understand how to treat parents of pets really patiently and kindly. The staff is very welcoming and understanding when phone calls need to be made. The waiting area is very welcoming as well as the doctors offices in the back. This whole atmosphere was very clean and I would definitely recommend bringing your beloved pets here if ever they need emergency services.

I’ve brought 3 of my pets to IVV to be seen. First two time they were great and this last time left me flabbergasted. Sarah initially came out caring and when she went back to tell staff about my puppies case her demeanor completely changed. She had attitude about me bringing my pup in, trying to compare it to its siblings. When this puppy seizures were worse. She then continues to tell me I probably can’t afford to bring in my pups and stated how many pups 6? How many had seizures? 2 she goes for now! And you said mom was gonna get fixed? Yes, had it been we wouldn’t be here? Mind blown I was at a loss for words. Then proceeded to say this is what happens when puppies aren’t being fed? (The audacity!) I stated I still wish for puppy to be seen. So she storms away. Then Steve comes charging out with attitude. Saying that this puppies problem was probably the same as his brother (hypoglycemia) which the cause still unknown never got a direct diagnosis from the vet. Telling me my other puppies symptoms. I stated my puppies sugar was ok because I loaded him up with syrup to get him out of hypoglycemia. He said fine grabs my puppy walks away and again reminds me of pricing. I confirmed with my mom asking if she sensed attitude? Again flabbergasted! Blood work was done dr said Steve would be in to talk about finances procedures… still nothing dr comes back and couldn’t give me any answers to my puppies blood work saying a better Dr would be in tomorrow and he would know more. Again mind blown thinking my puppy is coming home. Then they send in a tech who wasn’t working with my pup to tell me we been charged 2,400 and some change. We were like wait what? The dr didn’t say anything about my pup staying and only kept referring to his diagnosis as my last puppy and kept comparing. So I wasn’t comfortable leaving my puppy. Especially with staff with attitude because I hope the reflection of their attitude wasn’t how my puppy was going to be cared for. I was told I would get a call tomorrow to discuss over charges for services my pup did not get that we just learned. So I took initiative to call cause I heard nothing and I was told Vanessa would call me in about 20 minutes. Nothing this was at 10:48am when we ended the call and it is now 2:33pm still nothing. I’m so sad that I thought we found a place my pets could get great emergency care. I’m in the health care field and the first things we are taught is to keep our biased opinions out of the way from the care that we render. So I’m upset that this is no longer a place we will bring pets to.

Cannot rely on them! Twice in 4 years I’ve needed a vet after 10pm. The first I had my dog in labor with issues. I was speaking to them and they told me what to watch for. I needed to get her emergency help and when i called and said i was coming, they said don’t come here go to California emergency vet off the 60. Well, on July 29th 2026, I needed an emergency vet for a dog that was having issues and I called to tell them I’m coming and they said hold on…… came back and said we’re full tonight, go to VEG in Rancho Cucamonga. Twice now they’re not to be counted on. Twice they let us down. So now we won’t waste time trying to go to you. I’m telling all my pet friends the issues as well. When minutes count, I’m not going to be screwing around calling you! Lastly…. I think it should be against the law to call yourself an emergency center when you’re obviously NOT.
