  I did a meet and greet here and ended up not using this facility. The main reason I didn’t use this facility is that the dogs relieve themselves inside on the play room floor here and don’t spend any time outdoors. I don’t want my dog peeing/pooping inside or around other dogs relieving themselves inside. I fear my dog would be confused by this or this could create confusion for her. They did say that if they noticed my dog not relieving herself inside they would take her outside to the grass, which was nice, but I would rather my dog be somewhere where it’s expected the dogs will be outside regularly. This information might be on their website, but I didn’t see it. I could see this working for some dogs and dog parents, I know some dogs do relieve themselves inside their home on pee pads. If you don’t mind that, this facility does seem otherwise well-run and the dogs seem well-loved.

  Overall, Wags & Wiggles is a decent place for daycare and boarding, but in my opinion it works best for dogs that are already well trained, independent, and comfortable being away from their owners. If your dog is anxious, needs extra time to eat, or requires more individual attention, I would ask a lot of questions before booking. One thing I found extremely unprofessional was that after I raised my concerns, my account was deleted without any explanation. Unfortunately, I no longer have access to the reports and photos they provided, so I can’t show them here. There were several things I wasn’t happy with: 1. The report cards weren’t very useful. Most of the photos were taken in the playroom, which already has a camera I could check myself. For overnight boarding, I would much rather receive updates showing my dog eating, going on his walk, settling into his crate, or simply explaining how he did overnight. Those are the things owners cannot see themselves. 2. There was confusion about the overnight walks and drop-off fees. On September 18, I specifically asked what time we should bring our dog for his overnight stay the following Tuesday. I was told between 3 and 4 PM to avoid an additional daycare fee. It’s possible I misunderstood, but that is what I clearly remember being told. During the same conversation, I explained that we wanted him walked outside around 8 PM before bed and again in the morning. I was told this could be done. However, when my husband dropped him off around 3:44 PM, he was told that the person responsible for walks had already left and our dog would only be walked in the morning. At that point, we were already there for the booked overnight stay, so there wasn’t much we could do. We were later told that he did fine overnight, but when we brought him home, his voice was extremely hoarse and he could barely bark. We can only assume that he had been barking quite a bit during the night because he was stressed. I don’t blame the facility for him being stressed — part of the reason we tried daycare and boarding was to gradually teach him to be comfortable without us. What bothered me was that nobody told us he had apparently had a difficult night or gave us any meaningful information about how he actually behaved. We were also charged the daycare fee despite arriving during the time I understood would avoid it. From approximately 3:44 PM until around 10 AM the following morning, the total was almost $100, with only one walk included. 3. The feeding setup may not work well for anxious dogs. I understand that the staff has many dogs to care for, but dogs seem to get only a short amount of time to eat. If a dog is stressed and doesn’t immediately start eating, there doesn’t appear to be much extra time or individual attention available. That may be perfectly fine for many dogs, but it wasn’t ideal for ours. 4. We also wanted to work with one of their trainers. The trainer declined to work with our dog because he wasn’t responding to treats or engaging with the trainer. That was disappointing because I had hoped that learning how to build that engagement, especially with a nervous or distracted dog, would be part of the training process. Overall, I don’t think Wags & Wiggles is necessarily a bad facility. I think it depends heavily on your dog’s personality and needs. My biggest frustration was the lack of clear communication and meaningful feedback about what was actually happening with my dog. If you’re considering daycare or overnight boarding here, I would recommend confirming everything beforehand — especially drop-off fees, how many walks are included and when they happen, feeding procedures, what happens if your dog is stressed, and what kind of overnight updates you will receive. There are plenty of daycare and boarding options available, so compare the prices, services, and level of individual care and decide what works best for your dog.

  First time away for Maximillion. He did well and seemed to adapt. It was great what an interest in they take in all the dogs. When we came to pick Max up he had just finished being cuddled, which he loves. Great experience for us and for Max.

  The building was clean and well organized. Lots of friendly staff and lots of room for the dogs. Kennel area was also clean and well organized also. Confirming we made a great choice for our Tucker to enjoy.

  Wags & Wiggles is really a great place to board or do Daycare. People are friendly and professional and have always taken good care of my pet. I would highly recommend them!
