Not an animal hospital, no qualified vets anymore. Vet couldn’t even help recommend cat food. Ended up at another real hospital that prescribed new cat food. Reviews all based on Dr. Fullerton. This “hospital” cant even do an ultrasound.
Good for nothing

Always good experiences
We brought our brand new puppy in last Monday for his initial visit and unfortunately had a terrible experience with Dr. McCrimmon. From the moment we walked in, she was dismissive, rude, and arrogant. She barely made eye contact with me the entire appointment and directed almost all her attention and responses to my husband, even when I was the one asking questions.
I had legitimate concerns and follow-up questions about vaccinations and nutrition recommendations. Our breeder had specifically advised a certain food, and when I mentioned that and asked for her thoughts, Dr. McCrimmon became visibly defensive. Instead of having a professional conversation or explaining her reasoning calmly, she acted like my questions were a personal attack. She responded in a pompous and condescending way that made us both uncomfortable.
The male nurse who administered the vaccine was actually very kind and patiently answered my questions, which was a small bright spot. However, by that point Dr. McCrimmon had already completely derailed the visit, and the overall experience left us feeling disrespected and stressed.
She also engaged in heavy fear-mongering, warning that if our puppy’s testicles don’t descend he’ll get testicular cancer, along with a few other dramatic health risks. While I understand the importance of being informed, the delivery was unnecessarily alarming and unhelpful for first-time puppy parents who were already excited and nervous.
We left feeling unsupported rather than cared for. As pet owners, we’re allowed to ask questions and hear different opinions—especially when it comes to our puppy’s health. This is not the compassionate, collaborative care we were hoping for.
I would not recommend this clinic or Dr. McCrimmon. We’ll be finding a different vet moving forward.
I would like to thank Dr. Pitts, Dr. Bottaro, and the entire team at Studio City Animal Hospital for the care, professionalism, and compassion they showed throughout Felix’s journey.
Everyone took the time to answer my questions, explain the findings, and treat both Felix and me with kindness and respect. Felix definitely had a personality and could be a bit stubborn at times, but the team always handled him with patience and care. I always felt that they genuinely cared about their patients and their families.
Unfortunately, Felix crossed the Rainbow Bridge last week after a serious illness. I am grateful that he was a patient at this clinic and received thoughtful and compassionate care throughout his time there.
Thank you, Dr. Pitts, Dr. Bottaro, Ash, and the entire staff for everything you did for Felix. I will always appreciate your support and dedication.
🐾 In loving memory of Felix.
