  This is the best Petco store I have ever been by far. Have been using their grooming and buying foods and goods for the last 3 years. The staff is friendly and the groomers are kind and professional.

  Still lack assortment I need for Weruva and BFF brands. Also missing some favored Fancy Feast varieties. Cats are picky. Also why the fishermen proceed for Dr. Easly Cat liter?

  ⭐️ 1 STAR — Extremely disappointing grooming experience I have never felt the need to write a review like this, but my experience with Andrew at the PetSmart in Sherman Oaks was extremely disappointing. I have a very small, approximately 4-pound Yorkie who is calm and well-behaved. I bathe him myself regularly, about once a week, and he has also been to several PetSmart grooming locations and other groomers without this kind of issue. After the appointment, Andrew tried to charge an additional $10, claiming that my dog was sitting down and would not allow him to be washed. That explanation is simply not accurate. My dog is extremely small, calm, and accustomed to being bathed and groomed. I can literally hold him in the palm of my hand and bathe him regularly without a problem. The $10 itself is not the issue. The issue is being given an excuse that I know is not true in order to justify an extra charge. If there had actually been a behavioral or safety problem during the grooming, I would expect to be told honestly and clearly—not given an explanation that does not match my dog's behavior or his long history of grooming. I have used other PetSmart grooming locations and have never experienced anything like this. Unfortunately, based on this experience, I would not trust Andrew to groom my dog again. Very disappointing, especially over something as unnecessary as an extra $10 charge.

  They also sell hamsters, guinea pigs, fish, and cats aside from pet food and supplies. Staff were friendly and informative. Educated us on hamster habits.
