  First time in a petco. It was pretty good. Picked up a hamster for my daughter's birthday and while they did that I checked out all the other reptiles and fish and animals and all the cages were clean and everyone looked pretty healthy, but what do I know. The fella working there was the only one in the store at the time and he was very helpful and attentive.

  I came here yesterday only to get some cat food and was met with extreme rudeness from a worker. I came in around 8:30 pm so I knew the store was closing at 9. I get no one wants to work past the time they’re supposed to get off but it was only 8:30. To be rude to someone for coming into a store is beyond crazy to me. After his rude remark to me he turned to the cashier laughing it up. Next time I’ll just go to petsmart.

  This store needs more staff. Shelves are always empty despite online saying items are in stock. Carts everywhere full of items to be put out- There are no employees in the store to help, the ones there are rude and unhelpful. Please make this store like your Yulupa one!

  I have been a customer of this petco for more than 15 years and I have watched it crumble slowly but surely… First and foremost I own several pets (cats, dogs, fish, reptiles, etc.) so I frequent different pet stores in Sonoma county several times a week for my pet supplies. I often stop by at this petco because it's close to my house and I can often get feeder fish and crickets whenever I need them. However some employees at this location are so RUDE, specifically Siena. I have seen Siena be rude to her coworkers and she has been rude to me and other customers. It is clear she is not fit for her position, however her and the manager John seem to flirt all the time so anything she does goes unchecked. Her passive aggressiveness towards paying customers and her coworkers goes completely unnoticed because the LOUD and OBNOXIOUS manager John just lets it slide. Several times she has been condescending to me and my family, acting like she knows more than us even though I have come here several times and know a thing or two about pet care. Other than Siena there are some workers here who genuinely care about you and your pets like Talon in the aquatics department and Jason the other manager. Siena and John NEED to go since they showed up this location has gone to trash. Their unprofessionalism and inappropriate relationship shows even to the customers. I have seen other employees at this location walk around with vapes in their pockets fully visible to customers. I can't imagine what goes on behind closed doors. Until this location gets better management this location is just not good. Avoid at all costs.
