  Wanted to charge $700 to remove fox tale and wanted him left all day for sedation. I said no & they charged $98 for the visit anyway. Took him to a different vet, they had the f.t. out in 20 minutes, no sedation, charged $182.

  DO NOT GO HERE!! I repeat, DO NOT GO HERE! I took my Shih Tzu to see Dr. Lea Bove because I specifically asked for her to be checked for both a possible bladder infection and leg problems. During the exam, Dr. Bove repeatedly called my dog a "bad girl" because she wasn't allowing her legs to be manipulated. My dog was diagnosed with hip problems, and we were sent home with pain medication. Just two days later, on July 4th, I woke up to my dog vomiting and urinating blood throughout my home. I rushed her to the Emergency Animal Hospital in Santa Rosa, where she was diagnosed with a severe bladder infection and bladder stones. She is now scheduled for surgery tomorrow. This is a very serious condition, and I'm devastated that the issue I specifically asked to have evaluated was not identified during our visit. I trusted that her symptoms would be thoroughly investigated, and instead her condition worsened to the point of becoming an emergency. I'm sharing my experience so other pet owners can make informed decisions. If your pet seems like something isn't right, trust your instincts and don't hesitate to seek a second opinion.

  I love the VCA! Every time I come here with my pets, I am always treated hospitality and love. The staff always try to recommend the best possible care for my babies. I have never been given a reason not to trust the VCA. Tsym!!😍🐶🐱
