  We were no more nine minutes late at the absolute most for our appointment as new clients. When we arrived at the desk to check in for grooming, no one was there. We walked around the store and found someone to ask for help checking in. We were told the groomer canceled an our appointment without calling to let us know and invited the next customer to come in early. This was a great inconvenience for us. The manager tried to help by offering an appointment 2 hours later at a discount which would not work and would further inconvenience us, but also the manager didn't seem to care. I was planning to be a repeat customer with regular grooming every six weeks, I was going to buy a new brush and several other items. Now, whenever I have a choice (which is often) I will choose any place but Petco.

  Extremely disappointing and unnecessarily frustrating experience. I told the groomer, Candy, that my dog is slightly sensitive and has occasionally had a very mild reaction to certain shampoos. Nothing serious whatsoever. Somehow, she documented this as “asthma,” which is not what I said and is a completely different medical issue. They then kept me waiting for approximately 45 minutes before the manager, Roger, came out and told me they wouldn’t groom her. So after wasting nearly an hour of my time, my dog left without even being groomed. She has been professionally groomed regularly for the past 8 years, and I have never experienced anything this unnecessarily complicated. Being cautious with an animal is one thing; misrepresenting what the owner says, exaggerating a minor sensitivity, wasting the customer’s time, and then simply refusing service is another. Compared with my experiences at other locations, this team came across as neither customer-friendly nor particularly practical or solution-oriented. A surprisingly poor experience over something that should have been very simple. I definitely won’t return to this location.

  Ahhh. It must be hard being named Christian and lack compassion. I got there 3 minutes after the grace period and was refused service. I understand and respect grace periods but, the groomer was in the middle of cutting a dog anyway. The vibe was weird anyway so I’m glad it didn’t work out.

  Very friendly staff, our Tea cup Yorkie gets groomed here, we love the store. Too many outfits for the furkid lol
