Thank you Dr. Arbaugh, Dr. Tori, Dr. Robison and the tech Billy from the bottom of my heart. Falcor made it!
My 13 year old poodle Falcor had a terrible peroneal hernia that was preventing him from going poop. He was in a LOT of pain and the heria was bulging out to the right side of his tail and but.
I brought him to the ER and Dr. Robison was able to clear out some of it and give him pain meds and antibiotics to get him through the next few days.
Then I saw the surgeon Dr. Arbaugh and her assistant surgeon Tori and tech Billy. They performed a surgery to repair the hernia, kept him overnight. They saved his life. Two weeks later the stitches are out and he is back to normal, smiling and happy again running on the beach and grass. So glad we had the surgery here. I was worried this was the end but they fixed him and he is back!!! Ready for another summer in Capitola.
Thank you great work!!! 10/10.

I came in with my dog and a concern for bloat. They almost immediately got him back for X-rays and under 30 minutes I was signing the initial authorization for beginning emergent treatment and back waiting to speak with the doctor. They weren’t sure if they had all the staff to complete the surgery so they promptly left the room after speaking with me and my desire to move forward with surgery to figure out if we would need to drive over the hill. In under 2 hours of me noticing (I had to get child care prior to leaving the house) he was in surgery. Before we left we got to say hi, and he appeared comfortable and as relaxed as one could be at the vet, even with medication help. He came home two days later, looking the same except for a cone of shame and a huge incision, and a bonus under the low estimate (woohoo, so happy we have insurance, also that our dog was young and healthy enough to justify an expensive, emergent surgery). They also answered kindly answered my calls when I called to check on him while waiting for the doctor to call with updates. We are so grateful for their care. And yes when my husband took him in for diarrhea a week post op around midnight there was a longer wait, but that is expected at an emergency vet.

The degree of compassion and genuine caring shown the doctors and staff is truly remarkable for such a busy practice. Dr. Kalff and Dr. Arbaugh both took care of my pup for separate issues and did an absolutely wonderful job. If human healthcare could provide this level of service, the world would be a healthier place!

Me and my husband Jose were own our way back home from Gilroy to watsonville and on highway 129 on the side of the road we're to kittens we turned around we approached them and grabbed them we knew if we would of taken them home it would of been harder to turn them in the kittens and we already have a pet and could possibly get a lease violation didn't want to separate them either I feed them but I didn't get any pictures of them such beautiful kittens and they were clean too didn't find a flea. I thought I wasn't going to find anywhere I could drop them off at but I called here and they happily took them in thank you this is Mary limon I'm on my husband's phone could you send me some pictures of my two kittens I surrendered please

The veterinarians here are extremely knowledgeable and professional, and the staff truly cared about our cat. Everyone was patient, attentive, and took our concerns seriously. This is the animal hospital I trust the most when it comes to helping with my cat’s health issues. I’m very grateful for their care and highly recommend them.
