  After what felt like a week of nonstop vet visits with all three of my pets (Tasha, Bru, and Mika), I can honestly say I couldn't have asked for a better team than South Hillsdale Animal Hospital. From the moment you walk through the door, you can tell that everyone genuinely cares. A huge thank you to the front desk dream team, Mia and Marcie. I usually schedule appointments online, but we had a couple of unexpected follow-up visits that needed to happen quickly. Somehow they always found room in the schedule, greeted us with kindness, and made what could have been stressful feel completely manageable. Dr. Inna was incredible—patient, communicative, and thorough. She took the time to explain what she thought was happening with each of my pets, answered every question I had, and never made me feel rushed. It's obvious she truly wants both pets and their owners to understand what's going on. Dr. Hoang took wonderful care of Tasha during her dental procedure. He walked me through her dental challenges, explained what to expect during surgery and recovery, and made me feel confident that she was in the best hands. The veterinary technicians deserve just as much recognition. Tyler and the other techs (I'm so sorry I didn't catch your names!) were so gentle and compassionate with my animals. They made the scary "back room" feel a little less scary by treating my pets with patience, affection, and so much care. You can tell they genuinely love what they do. And yes—the little details matter too. My pets got plenty of treats, and I even got Starbursts while I waited. It's such a small gesture, but it perfectly reflects the atmosphere there: thoughtful, welcoming, and kind. I'll also admit something personal. I've had difficult experiences at other veterinary clinics where I left feeling judged, blamed, or even accused of things that simply weren't true. Those experiences made it hard to fully trust veterinary care again. South Hillsdale Animal Hospital has helped restore some of that trust. Every single person I've interacted with has treated both me and my pets with compassion, respect, and genuine empathy. I never feel like just another appointment on the schedule. I feel like they truly care about the health and happiness of my animals, and they take the time to make sure I do too. I'm grateful that my pets don't need frequent veterinary care—but when they do, I'm incredibly thankful that this is where we get to go. Thank you to everyone at South Hillsdale Animal Hospital for taking such wonderful care of Tasha, Bru, Mika, and their very appreciative human. ❤️

  Mia has always been very welcoming, helpful and very knowledgeable. We have been coming here for at least 10 years, all the staff from the Receptionists, Tech members and the Vets take very good care with our dogs and really get to know them and all their health needs. Highly recommend if you're looking for a Vet.

  I went there today because my dog hasn’t been feeling well. I was initially impressed with the receptionist , trying to gather more information , both prior to the appointment and present day. Next I was impressed with the young man who came and took my dog to the back to begin her blood draws. He was pleasant , introduced himself and didn’t rush my dog to the back. He could tell she was hesitant and he was patient. I’m hoping this vet works out because I live on this side of the bay now and we need a good vet!!

  The most caring, thorough team--doctors and support staff--one could wish for. I honestly don't know how they do it -- make me feel every time like we're their only clients.
