  I had a great visit. I was greeting when I walked in, asked if I needed help finding anything, They were cleaning the fish tanks which is nice to see. Cashier asked if I wanted to start a subscription to save `15% percent on my dog food. Both cashiers were professional, courteous, and presentable. Good job team.

  Excellent service. I went to return an online purchase, they kindly accepted it, and I was able to change the product right there in the store.

  I went to buy a water fountain for my dog today at the Blossom Hill location and it turned out to be defective. (That's okay and understandable technology fails)I ended up going back to Blossom Hill but it was there last one so I ended up going to the Cottle Rd location since it stated in the app that they had it in stock. I go there and they don't have it. It was there last one they even took the time to check their inventory room. (Which is understandable theft sometimes happens) I then go to this location the Tully Rd location cause they had more than one available. I finally found it and was able to complete the transaction. The transaction at this location was very unpleasant. Around 7:50pm on 4/27/26 the manager on duty was very rude and unpleasant. The cashier that helped me was the dog trainer at this location and she seemed to understand the situation better than the manager. All I wanted to do was an even exchange for the SAME product I just bought earlier that day. I been working in retail for 10+ years and I know retail can be very annoying and draining especially with the way some customers can be. I tried showing the manager my receipt and explaining why the price for the fountain was 7.49 (I price matched it to the Petco app and used my rewards from the vital care rewards) he didn't even look at my receipt. He didn't want to do it it seemed but ended up doing it. He said "I'm going to get in trouble for this now and sighed and walked away" I don't think he should get in trouble for override the price after all he did take care of the customer but that comment was really unnecessary. The cashier did apologize and said sorry it's our Friday which I hope they enjoy their days off and reset. If it's a system issue with the vital care rewards then Petco needs to get their system together also. The rewards should carry over especially since it's the SAME product sku and model.
