We’ve been taking Waffles to Banfield on Brokaw Rd for his regular checkups and whenever he hasn’t been feeling well, and the care has always been amazing. Dr. Jihyun Kim, Dr. Lara Ann Martinez, and the entire staff are incredibly kind, patient, and gentle with him.
One thing that says a lot — Waffles never complains or gets anxious about going there. He’s always comfortable with the team, which means everything to us as pet parents.
They were able to detect his B12 deficiency and helped him recover from recurring stomach issues that had been bothering him for a long time. They also took wonderful care of him during his neutering procedure, and he healed surprisingly fast afterward.
We’re really grateful for the level of attention, compassion, and professionalism they show every visit. Highly recommend this Banfield team for anyone looking for vets who truly care about their pets.

It was my first time visiting this Banfield location, and I have to say the staff was amazing from beginning to end. From Ashley at the front desk, to Dr. Park, and all of the vet assistants working that day, everyone treated us with so much kindness and care.
I brought my cat Leo for his annual check-up, vaccines, and general wellness exam, and everything went smoothly. During the visit, I ended up enrolling him in the Active Care Plus plan, and I really appreciated how patient and informative the team was. They answered every single one of my questions, which made me feel much more comfortable making that decision.
That same day, Leo received his vaccines, blood work, and everything he needed, and honestly, they treated my fluffy little baby with so much love and attention. You can tell they genuinely care about animals and their owners.
We left feeling very well taken care of, and we’ll definitely be back in a couple of months for his next check-up. Thank you again to the whole team for taking such good care of my handsome boy 🐾✨

What is an Optimum Wellness Plan?
Optimum Wellness Plans are designed to provide annual preventive care. They include head-to-tail exams, vaccines, early screening diagnostics, consultations for proper nutrition, dental care and more! Since wellness plans are not insurance, they do not include treatment for unpredictable or abnormal conditions, however discounts would apply. Because pets need ongoing preventive care, wellness plans automatically renew at the end of each twelve month period (unless paid in full at enrollment).
How do I pay for an Optimum Wellness Plan?
You can spread the cost of your wellness plan across the 12 months of your annual agreement to make it easier to budget for the essential health care your pet needs. Your monthly payments can be automatically withdrawn from a checking or savings account or charged to a credit card so that you don’t have to worry about them once you enroll. We also offer the option of paying in full if you prefer.
What kind of appointment do I have?
• In-room appointments: You and your pet visit the vet together. Please arrive a few minutes before your appointment time
• Drop-off appointments: If you have a drop-off appointment, we will communicate a time to drop off your pet. Keep your phone nearby and we’ll call you when your pet is ready for pickup.
• Optimum Wellness Plans® Virtual Visits: If you have an Optimum Wellness Plan and scheduled a Virtual Visit, you’ll save valuable time and get quality care from the comfort of your home.
