I have had issues with the coleman location. I set up an appointment with eevee and tater both so i can drop off and pick them up after i get my special needs son at home. They said i didnt make an appoint for both? i did. They got upset with me cuz i left one dog cuz i had to pick up my son. Rude so rude. I felt scolded like a 8 year old. I am 62 and will never go there again. It was not my first time either. but surely my last

Brought my cat in for a routine dental cleaning. Vet noted a possible Grade I murmur and ran a proBNP test to screen for heart disease. Their own written plan was explicit: normal proBNP = no further workup needed; only proceed to a cardiac ultrasound if results came back high. The proBNP came back normal. Six months later, with no new findings and no explanation of what changed, they suddenly required a cardiologist referral and a $4,000 echocardiogram before they’d touch my cat’s teeth. When I pointed out that their own notes said proBNP was sufficient, I was told “for us it’s not enough” — no clinical reasoning, just a flat contradiction of what they’d documented themselves. When I said $4,000 was too expensive, they just said that’s the price the other hospital set — no attempt to help. I asked about downgrading my Optimum Wellness Plan since I could no longer justify the cost, and was told I’d have to pay an extra $100 because I’d used medication not covered under the lower plan. When I asked why downgrading costs extra when I could just cancel and start a new plan instead, they couldn’t explain it and said I’d need to talk to billing. The whole exchange felt dismissive and unprofessional, not just financially frustrating. Feels less like caution and more like a $4,000 upsell dressed up as concern for my cat’s health. I made an appointment at the Banfield at 1098 E Brokaw Rd instead — front desk was very friendly, pulled my cat’s medical records, and had their vet independently re-assess his condition rather than just going off the old notes. Their plan was: if the murmur is still mild, proceed with the dental cleaning as planned. Professional, straightforward, and I trust their judgment.

I've been Goin there for approximately 13 years. And I'm very happy with them taking care of rainy and chica.

My dog gets very nervous before and during vet appointments, especially because of past experiences, so finding a team that is patient and understanding makes a huge difference. I had such a great experience at this location. They called in advance, took the time to understand his needs, and were very accommodating with scheduling to make sure he would have enough care, patience, and attention during the visit. That meant a lot to me because appointments can be stressful for him, and as a dog owner, you just want to know your pet is being handled with compassion. The team was thoughtful, patient, and made me feel like they genuinely cared about making the experience as comfortable as possible for him. I really appreciated the extra communication and the way they approached his anxiety instead of rushing through it. I’m so grateful for the care they showed and would absolutely recommend this location, especially for pets who are nervous or need a little extra patience.
