  We have been a Vetco premier customer since 2022 normally use Poway or encinitas location. For the first time I thought I would use mission gorge on friars, well horrible service, the office staff gives you some hoopla story. I booked a follow up visit, and was called a couple hours before the appointment and was told that they couldn't see him because Poway saw him and it's really not a follow up. So I asked isn't Vetco the same she said yes but still. So why can't the Dr look at his weight and ears and log it down. She said well because Poway is the one that diagnosed him. It's ridiculous and to think I pay for this service, maybe it's time to look at other options. Which is sad because the doctor is great but the office staff will ruin it

  Dr. Biggs and the whole staff were amazing. We felt like someone was actually listening to us. Our little girl is feeling much better from her ear infection, pain in her back legs and feet subsiding and anxiety reducing.

  Had a little difficulty getting my sick dog in for a second visit with Dr.Biggs.They suggested I drive to Salono beach to emergency clinic. Petco is just around the corner from me. They squeezed him in after I insisted!

  Do not take your pets to Petco Vetco; they only care about taking your money and care less for the health of your pets. My dog had an appointment in August 2025 for allergies. The Veterinarian recommended a different medication my bill came out around $400.00 dollars, and it was fine because she solved my dog's allergies problem. Before I left the veterinarian and her assistant told me that if my dog will have recurrent allergies before a year passed to call for more medication. After eight months, my dog started showing sings of allergies again. I called for refills, and they informed me that they would send a message to the veterinarian. After five days I called back, the person answering the phone told me that my dog needed a new evaluation and might need labs, and that the doctor was not comfortable refilling the medication for my dog. This person was very confrontational, cutting me off every time I tried to speak. I told her that I didn't need a year physical or labs for my dog. After I saw she was trying to force me to schedule another appointment so I could pay for things my dog doesn't need, I gave up. I told her that they were not honoring what they told me and that I would take my dog where they actually care for animals. She replied that that was fine and she would mail me my dog's records. I am very disappointed. I have been taking my two dogs to the Petco clinic for years; I even paid upfront for a year for one of my dogs to be a member. I regret it, and I am ashamed to bring business to a company that is just trying to dig into people pockets. I just paid them more than $400.00 dollars two weeks ago for my other dog. It was very bad experience, just a company that doesn't care for animals.
