  I brought my dog, Chachi, to Kearny Mesa Veterinary when he suddenly developed issues with his hind legs and was unable to walk. After evaluation, it was determined that he had IVDD, and the entire team was incredibly supportive throughout this difficult experience. Dr. Maria Martinez and the staff showed genuine compassion, empathy, and concern for both Chachi and me every step of the way. I especially appreciated their quick response times whenever I had questions or concerns, as well as the helpful guidance they provided for managing his condition and recovery. One feature I found particularly valuable was their text support line. It made it easy to get assistance with medications, ask questions, and receive advice on caring for Chachi at home. The communication was excellent and gave me peace of mind during a stressful time. I also found their pricing to be fair and reasonable. At no point did I feel pressured into unnecessary tests, treatments, or services. Their focus was always on providing the care Chachi actually needed. I am very grateful to Dr.Maria Martinez and the entire team at Kearny Mesa Veterinary for their professionalism, kindness, and dedication.   I brought my cat, Tomasa, here who has been struggling with allergies for months. We had been taking her to Tijuana for treatment, and while her allergies and scabs were improving, they never fully healed. I decided to try Kearny Mesa Veterinary Center and I'm so glad I did. The first person who greeted us was Sara, who was sweet and welcoming. She let us know we could be seen earlier than expected, which immediately helped ease my anxiety. Next, we met Christina, who was funny, kind, and wonderful with Tomasa. She made us feel comfortable and helped make the visit a positive experience. Dr. Marissa Robertson was absolutely fantastic. She took the time to listen to our concerns and carefully reviewed all the different foods we had tried feeding Tomasa. She explained how allergies work in cats in a way that was easy to understand and reassured us that we were doing everything we could as pet parents. For the first time in months, we felt truly heard and left with a clear plan. Best of all, Tomasa has been doing great since her appointment. We're already looking forward to her follow-up visit. Free parking is available, but limited. The clinic is very spacious and clean.

  I just established care here with my kitty! I was pleasantly surprised with the kindness that radiates from the entire office. Dr. Robertson made my anxious kitty feel safe, while explaining my pets immediate needs, and helped me set a plan for more routine care. the vet technician was able to give me a great price breakdown so i really understood what i was paying for, and got me scheduled for a follow up that best fit my schedule. I left feeling better educated instead of guilty about how to keep my pet healthy and happy. Excellent place to take your pets, will be telling all my friends!
