  The staff were friendly and nice but they seemed more focused on selling me a wellness plan over treating the current issue at hand (sick cat).

  This location has the kindest technicians vets and staff! We’ve been going here consistently since the La Jolla location closed and it is such a positive, reassurance experience every time! Lori Dr. O’Donnell and Rebecca A. are especially appreciated by me and my dog Penny.

  I'm going to be be honest about my experience with the two banfield locations that I've been to... I was going to the College location bc it was close to my house and convenient, however, every time I call the young boy who always answers never had answers about basic booking appointments and only would give me the option to drop off my pet... I absolutely DO NOT LIKE the drop off service... The two times I've dropped my 12 yr old dog off, she runs out the door and pees like she hasnt gone since we left my house & then when home, she chugs water, as if they didn't provide her ANY!!! Not a fan!!!! Last week, she was VERY SICK... Vomiting and diarrhea for two days. I made an appointment and later received a voice mail from the same person saying they no longer had my appointment available!!!! I pay the Banfield membership & that's absolute BS!!! I was desperate to get an appointment at ANY location, at that point, so luckily I was able to be seen at the Mission Gorge location, also near my house... Friendly staff.. The Dr, on the other hand kept saying "umm" when I asked questions and all she kept hearing me towards was getting a $500 X-ray for my dog, which came back as I told her it would since my dog is older and doesn't get into things... She said the next thing to do would be to do an ultra sound.... The ultra sound should've been done FIRST!!!!! She put my dog on anti diarrhea/probiotics that weren't enough.. My dog was still vomiting and was panting... So two days go by and I'm trying to get a follow up, but not with either of those locations.... I was able to be seen by the Pacific beach location.... Great Staff! And AMAZING Dr ODonnell...I will only go to that location, as long as I have my dog... I don't recommend anyone go to Banfield unless they want to be scammed by a company who hires unprofessional employees who don't know what they're doing.....

  Recently brought my dog for routine teeth cleaning with anesthesia covered by her wellness plan. She gets very anxious at the vet so I always worry about her, but Lori at the front was so kind and did an amazing job both reassuring me and comforting her. She was so helpful for both me and my girl, thank you so much Lori!
