  I was once impressed with this place but after years of being a ‘client’ im left disgusted with how they conduct business. You can never call them, they promise things they don’t intend on doing and they aren’t proactive with their patients. Overall they’re just not the type of veterinarian I feel safe overviewing the health of my pet.

  IF YOU HAVE A SMALL DOG DO NOT GO TO THIS VET!!! I took my 14 year old Yorkie to these crooks and they did NOT honor the $25 1st visit wellness charge!!! My dog has bronchitis and they insisted I do blood work and X-rays...over $900! I asked which was more important and they suggested the $600+ X-ray,. They found that my dog had a collapsed trachea. Upon leaving, I called and asked that they send her Rx's to Sam's Club. I then drove from Pocket to Sam's only to find out she forgot to call in the Rx and they were closed!!! I had to contact them again the next day and she forgot 1 of the 2 Rx's. I then told them they need to honor the Sam's cost for the inconvience, so they did. Additionally, I contacted Bruceville Pet Hospital (former vet) and they suggested a Hydrocodone 1ml syrup (narcotic) Rx. I requested the written script from South Sac, they provided it knowing I could not get it filled ANY WHERE but with them! Moreover, I contacted Costco, Sam's, CVS, Walmart and Walgreens; not available. I contacted So. Sac Pet Hospital and left a message on a Friday, called on Monday morning (still working on it), followed up on Tuesday morning (still working on it), followed up again on Tueday at 12ish (still working on it), then spoke to the vet and he informed me that he would put in the Rx request. I then followed up and they informed me they were still working on it. By 2ish, I let them know that I was on my way only for them to tell me they do not have the Rx available in-house and the only vet that can write narcotic scripts is out until October...waste of 4 days!!! They then told me I would have to go to a vet to get another exam and request the script!!! These unprofessional crooks, gave me the runaround for days and it took me hours trying to figure this out today! Thank you to Broadway Vet Hospital Urgent Care for squeezing my baby in and and Summit Vet for informing of Parkside (compound) Pharmacy as they will make the Rx within 24 hours and add flavor if needed! Lol! Amazing no other vets knew this and had me call Costco and Sam's only and also informed me there may be a backlog if they did not have it! Oh YEAH, South Sac told me if the same issue came up, they would refer that patient to another vet if they could not provide the script, AFTER services have been rendered...Again, CROOKS!!!

  We just moved here and needed our dog's annual check up and shots. Making an appointment was easy. When we arrived they were wonderful. The techs were so nice and helpful. Dr. Jerge was very patient with my dogs during the exam. We weren't able to get our pet records from our other vet so they helped us through the process of ensuring our dogs had what they needed. The welcome deal was a good deal on the first exam, and the extra costs were expected as all vets charge this way. Thank you for making a stressful situation not so stressful. Blade, Aluna, and family.

  Jason at the front desk needs training and they already know this . Amanda is clearly aware of the incompetence of this office. Filling my pets meds are like pulling teeth with a blind fold on. The female traveling doctor is rude and insecure with the red hair. The male doctor was a smidge nicer. One star overall. Amanda is nice. I miss Julianna.

  The staff and Doctor treated me like a person showing care for me and my cat. My cat had a very bad infection on her face and in her ear. I felt like they did everything they could to treat her while keeping my finances in mind. I will go back again and again. I would recommend them to everyone.
