  Great employees, friendly atmosphere but one thing I noticed is the computers at this particular location are very slow for the employees and tend to hold the line up when checking out. Might be worthwhile to upgrade the computers. The employees deal with it but I can tell it’s annoying for them.

  I really hate seeing the animals in boxes...nothing to do....nothing to look at.. and the single fishes in little cups! So selFish of us humans.. I go because they have the best selection of cat food.

  Booked an "appointment" for a rabies shot in their "clinic." The appointment is just a suggestion - there was a line in the middle of the main aisle we had to stand in with all the other "appointments." After the weigh in, we were directed to another aisle, but it had poop in it, so we stood at the back of the store for about half an hour. The entire store is the "clinic." We are disabled and it causes us pain to stand for more than a few minutes. That's why we make APPOINTMENTS. Retailers of all kinds should have an ADA expert on staff, because the majority of disabled people are NOT IN WHEELCHAIRS!

  The cashier Kelly seems to treat clientele differently depending on the skin tone of the customers, namely that doesn't seem to be a fan of darker skinned customers like myself. The staff here are all friendly and helpful, but it seems Kelly (this was the name on my receipt), the redhead with glasses, seems to be incredibly effusive and bubbly only when speaking to people with less melanin. When she rang up a couple in this category she was overly friendly and went on and on and on about the toys she recommends for her dogs with them. When it came time to ring me she was dead silent, not a welcoming hello, and abruptly told me to stop entering my number in the keypad, that she had it already when i thought it didn't take it. Not a 'thank you' after the transaction, not a 'have a great day.' When i left the register to walk toward the grooming department she headed the same way and i kept the door open for her as she was heading in there as well and no 'thank you' for that either. i wouldnt have thought twice about a nothing interaction had she not been so overly nice to the blonde hair blue eyed couple she checked out before me. It's interesting behavior from an employee. I just hope she doesn't treat other employees like that.
