We made a last-minute appointment for our dog after recently moving to the area. We already have an established veterinarian but wanted to give this clinic a try.
Unfortunately, our experience was very disappointing. The staff was rude, and the veterinarian seemed upset after we declined nearly $800 worth of additional services, vaccinations, and treatments. Many of the recommended shots had already been given by our regular veterinarian. We brought our dog in because we suspected he had fleas, and we were given an over-the-counter flea pill.
It turns out our dog never had fleas. We took him to our regular veterinarian afterward, where he was correctly diagnosed with a skin rash and prescribed antibiotics. The flea medication from this clinic did not address the actual problem, and we were disappointed that the condition was misdiagnosed and treated incorrectly.
My husband also had a coupon for $120 off the first visit, which covered the new patient exam. During checkout, our dog was being very chaotic, and the staff never asked if we had any coupons. When I scheduled the appointment, no one mentioned that the coupon had to be presented at the time of payment.
The following day, I returned to ask if the coupon could still be applied or if we could receive a refund. The front desk employee was very rude, interrupted me, and immediately said that because the coupon was not presented during payment, it could not be applied and no refund would be given. I wasn't even given the opportunity to explain the situation.
Afterward, I spoke with the staff at Petco, who were friendly, attentive, and genuinely tried to help. They took my name and information and said someone would follow up, but I have not heard back.
I understand that businesses have coupon policies, but customers should be informed of those policies when they schedule an appointment or, at the very least, be asked if they have any coupons before payment is processed. I would greatly appreciate a refund or for the coupon to be honored since we were never informed of how it needed to be used.
Overall, between the poor customer service, the incorrect diagnosis, and the lack of communication regarding the coupon, this was a very disappointing experience. Based on what happened, I would not return to this clinic.

Do not go here. This was one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had with a vet office. I live over an hour away, so I specifically called ahead before coming to confirm they could do an X-ray if I arrived around 3pm. I was quoted $190 for the X-ray and was told my arrival time would be fine.
When I got there, they suddenly told me I arrived “too late” because they only do X-rays in the morning, which completely contradicted what I was told over the phone. The vet was extremely short and dismissive with me. She said, “I’ll be right back, I need to see if they can even do an X-ray because you came late,” and then never returned to speak with me again.
Instead, another employee came in and handed me a receipt for over $600 because they failed to mention sedation fees beforehand. They also tried pushing pain medication for my dog even though he was not showing signs of pain. If the vet had spent more than a few seconds actually speaking with me, she would’ve known that.
The entire office felt cold, disorganized, and uninterested in helping either pets or their owners. Nobody seemed like they wanted to be there. I would strongly recommend finding a vet office that communicates honestly, respects your time, and genuinely cares about your pet.
