  I never write negative reviews, but this was one of the worst vet experiences I have had. I would not recommend. When we first got there, the clinic looked closed because the windows were covered with wood panels, and it looked run down, but I put that aside because my 12 year old dog needed help. What really disappointed me was the way Dr. Debbie Estrada treated us. She never introduced herself, and from the beginning she seemed rude and judgmental. I felt like she was assuming I had neglected my dog instead of trying to understand the situation. I obviously cared for him if I brought him in. She sighed several times during the appointment and her tone made me feel like we were an inconvenience. The hardest part was discussing euthanasia. I knew it was the right decision for my dog, but it was also the most heartbreaking decision I’ve ever had to make. She showed no compassion or comfort during the process, her nor any staff member ever gave a simple, “I’m sorry for your loss.” On top of that, they tried to charge me $47 for the first exam even though their website clearly says first-time visits are $25. They corrected it after I mentioned it, but no one apologized or acknowledged it after. Compassion would have went a long way, and it’s something we needed during this difficult time. Given that it is a vet hospital, we just expected professionalism and respect. I would have gone elsewhere if I had a little more time with my dog, but I put him first throughout this whole experience because he really needed it.

  Riverside Animal Hospital – Read This! I absolutely love ❤️ this veterinary hospital! The staff was amazing, and their prices were very affordable compared to other clinics I visited. A special thank you to Dr. Estrada—she is truly my hero! 🏆 You can tell she has always dreamed of being a veterinarian, and it shows in the way she cares for her patients. She performed a procedure that no other vet was willing to do, 💪 and I am so grateful. Dr. Estrada genuinely loves what she does. She is incredibly knowledgeable, takes the time to explain everything in detail, and presents information in a way that is easy to understand. 😇 Her compassion, expertise, and dedication are exceptional. I couldn't be happier with Dr. Estrada and the entire team at Riverside Animal Hospital. I highly recommend both Dr. Estrada and this veterinary hospital to anyone looking for outstanding care for their pets. 🐾❤️

  This Veteranarian sold me 20 Trazodone pills for my dogs Sundowners (dog dementia) for $30. When I found out that I could purchase 100 Trazodone for $30 through the Amazon pharmacy, they wrote me a prescription for 100 Trazodone, but then refused to confirm the prescription after multiple attempts by the Amazon pharmacy to confirm it (thus, trying to force me to buy it from them at 5X the cost instead). It also took several attempts by me before I was finally able to get the new written prescription in an attempt to purchase the meds my dog needed elsewhere at 1/5 the price. I am very dissapointed in this vet since Ed Jezbera retired and sold it to this new vet. I will be taking my dogs to a new vet now.

  My main vet was unavailable, so I'm grateful to have Riverside Animal Hospital available for additional services. The staff are helpful and informative, appointment times are fast.

  My fur baby is always well-cared for at this office. Dr Estrada is great with handling animals. Prices are reasonable, for physicals and teeth cleanings at least. but most importantly I’m confident in the docs here! Shadow says thank you!
