  I just wanted to give a special shout-out to Aliana, who helped me during the Oakdale Tiny Paws adoption event at the Riverbank Petco this Saturday. I had prearranged to adopt a puppy and was driving in from out of town. When I arrived, I had my husky with me and wasn't sure of the best way to handle leaving him safely while I went inside. Aliana immediately took the time to help me. She reassured me that the safest approach was to leave the car running with the air conditioning on, offered to keep an eye on him, and even went inside to let the rescue group know I had arrived. That small act of kindness made a potentially stressful situation much easier. I was also impressed with the store overall. I had called the evening before to confirm I was going to the correct Petco, and the staff immediately knew which rescue organization would be there and what time the event started. Everyone I encountered was professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely helpful. When you're traveling from out of town to adopt an animal, little things like that make a huge difference. Thank you, Aliana, and the Petco team, for making the experience so welcoming and positive. It was very much appreciated! P.S. A special thank-you to Sheryl and everyone at Oakdale Tiny Paws Rescue for making the entire adoption process so smooth. Since I was traveling from out of town, they helped coordinate everything in advance, which made the experience easy and stress-free. Most importantly, thank you for the incredible work you do rescuing animals in need. The puppy I adopted was one of ten puppies rescued along with three mothers from very difficult conditions. It's clear these dogs receive not only medical care and safety, but also genuine love while they're in foster homes. You can see how much Sheryl cared for these puppies, and I know a little piece of her heart went home with the one I adopted. Thank you to everyone at Oakdale Tiny Paws Rescue for giving these puppies a second chance and for helping families like mine find such wonderful companions. ❤️🐾 ( good to remember when you're trying to figure out which nonprofit organization to donate to at whatever time of year You do that🦋)

  Not impressed with selection of dog foods and they are more expensive than elsewhere. They did not have what I was looking for.

  I wish I could give zero stars. I took my dog in and was told his ears had too many mats. Ok, that's fine. I shaved them down myself and attempted to book another appointment. Turned me away saying they wouldnt groom him. Said I needed to book an appointment with a private groomer. Make sure your dog is pre groomed if you plan on taking them to petco
