  We’ve been going to Nick for years! He handled our anxious elder dog with such care and gentleness. Our fur boy comes out happy! Highly recommend!

  I brought my 17-year-old dog here for grooming and I am extremely upset with the experience. Before his appointment, I specifically explained how I wanted his hair cut—his usual poodle-style haircut—and made it very clear that because of his age, I wanted them to be especially gentle and careful with him. What I got back was completely different from what I asked for. They shaved his body and legs extremely short, cut down the hair around his head and ears, and even shaved his entire tail. What poodle haircut involves shaving ALL of the hair off the tail? He barely looks like the same dog. I understand that sometimes adjustments have to be made because of matting or other issues, but if they felt they could not do the haircut I requested, I should have been contacted BEFORE they made the decision to shave him this drastically. Nobody called me to ask for permission or explain that they needed to completely change the haircut I requested. What makes this even more upsetting is that he is 17 years old. I trusted them with my elderly dog after specifically expressing my concerns about his age and asking them to handle him with extra care. Seeing him come back like this was heartbreaking. And somehow, they still charged me for the grooming service. I cannot understand how you can completely disregard what a customer specifically requested, shave a poodle from his body down to his tail, and then charge the customer as though the service was performed as agreed. I have photos of how my dog normally looks after grooming versus how he was returned to me, and the difference speaks for itself. This was absolutely not the haircut I requested or expected. I’m extremely disappointed and would not trust this location with my dog again.

  Groomer was rude and impatient. I was 15 mins late. She Said she had a lot of dogs. Seemed irritated. I offered to come back later and she said she would be busy all day and rolled her eyes. It was apparent that she did not want my dog to stay. So, I decided to leave. There was also a drop of poop on the floor by her register and a urine stain nearby. Shocked to see such a nasty floor so early in the morning. Its only 10:30am. Not a good experience Petco North Redondo beach.

  Sofia is the best she is so patient and shows so much love to my quest . He can be a hand full sometimes but when he see’s her he definitely gets excited. Thank you Sofia!!!

  Although I paid extra to have his footpads trimmed there was still long hair around and between is toes. They also forgot his scarf which was also extra, I was half way home when I realized this and went back for the scarf. I did not notice the footpads until we were already home. I forget what they called the service they billed the footpad trim as, but I remember that footpad trimming is not a listed service, so it was billed as something else.
