  I brought my 17-year-old dog here for grooming and I am extremely upset with the experience. Before his appointment, I specifically explained how I wanted his hair cut—his usual poodle-style haircut—and I made it very clear that because of his age, I wanted them to be especially gentle and careful with him. What I got back was completely different from what I asked for. They shaved his body and legs extremely short and cut off so much of the hair around his head and ears that he barely looks like the same dog. I understand that sometimes adjustments have to be made because of matting or other issues, but if they could not do the haircut I requested, I should have been contacted before they decided to shave him this drastically. What makes this even more upsetting is that he is 17 years old. I trusted them with a very elderly dog after specifically expressing my concerns, and seeing him come back looking like this was heartbreaking. To top it off, they still charged me for the grooming service. I cannot understand how you can completely disregard what a customer requested and then charge them as though the service was performed as agreed. I have photos of how my dog normally looks after grooming versus how he was returned to me, and the difference speaks for itself. I’m extremely disappointed and would not trust this location with my dog again.
