I had a very disappointing experience with the veterinary staff at Eco Veterinary Care. At approximately 8:30 p.m., the female staff member who identified herself as the “lead” (heavy-set with glasses) was unnecessarily rude to my family. After she asked us to make sure our dog’s face guard was securely fastened, we attempted to let her know it had been secured. Before we could finish speaking, she put her hand up in a dismissive “excuse me” gesture and rudely said she would get back to us and told us to close the door. We later spoke with her coworker, Bryan, who was polite, professional, and understanding. He tried to explain her behavior by saying, “She’s just like that… she’s very blunt.” That is not an acceptable excuse, especially for someone who says they are the lead. Leadership should set the standard for professionalism and customer service, not excuse poor behavior. After my dog’s procedure, while we were at the counter, she approached my wife and asked, “Was there any issues today with me?” I told her that I was the one with the concern and that I would discuss it with her manager. She responded by saying there was no manager on the floor and that she was the lead and could tell them herself. In a calm and professional manner, I repeated three times that I wanted to discuss my concerns directly with her manager. Instead of respecting that, she rolled her eyes, sighed dramatically, and walked away. I commented that her reaction was exactly what my complaint was about. Fortunately, I spoke with Josh and Kristen, the Petco store managers, and they were both professional, respectful, and assured me they would address the situation. Customer service and professionalism matter, especially in veterinary care where families are already stressed about their pets. Bryan, Josh, and Kristen represented the business well. Unfortunately, the lead staff member’s dismissive attitude, lack of professionalism, and unwillingness to handle feedback appropriately left a very negative impression.

Took my little scared rescue dogs there for a grooming. Lady at the grooming counter who checked us in seemed cold and borderline rude. Almost to the point where I walked away before their appointment because the vibe felt off. No friendliness, no smile, nothing. Almost as if she didn’t wanna be there. Looking annoyed and mad she had to work. Then Nathalie and McKayla appeared and saved the day. They were both extremely kind and professional and because of them and their positive attitude I decided to stay . They did an amazing job that’s absolutely worth giving a shout out to!

The only reason why I gave this score is because my dog had not had her nails cut in over a year so the nerve grew down into the nail. When the groomer tried to cut her nail, the dog reacted because it was painful. Now she is not allowed to come to any Petco and I don't think that's fair to her. They should have at least given me the option to attempt grinding the nails down if they could not cut them instead of banning her from going to any Petco in any City. She has been going to Petco since she was a baby and now she's six.

Cashier had a line. Left to help someone at the dog tag machine. Stated someone was coming to help us. No one came. We had to wait for the cashier to return. He stated that he thought someone was coming. Then while I was being rang up by him, a person came. The cashier stopped ringing me out to talk about breaks with that person. Very unprofessional.
