Very nicely located. The staff is friendly and professional. We board our dog there because of the cleanliness of the facility. They notify us when our pet needs vaccines

I cannot express enough gratitude to Dr. Willoughby, Dr. Wolff, and the entire team at All Pets Veterinary Clinic. On May 3 we found Smokey, a former feral cat from a colony we feed on Terminal Island, in a severe state. He was suffering from a critical dental abscess and a severe external laceration from a fight. Recognizing he was in critical condition, we coordinated with our network's emergency sponsor and brought him straight to an ER and then All Pets for his final diagnoses and treatment. Smokey was actually my very first rescue, and the experience was deeply emotional for me. The staff was incredibly patient, compassionate, and understanding with my tears. From the moment we walked through the door, the veterinary assistants, technicians, and doctors treated Smokey like family. Their skill, dedication, and gentle care during his surgery and stay made all the difference in his recovery. Thank you to the entire team at All Pets for the incredible, life saving work you do every day. We are forever grateful to you all!

I’ve been thinking for weeks about whether to leave this review, but I ultimately decided to because I believe reviews help other pet owners make informed decisions. We trust clinics with our family members — our pets — and it’s important to share honest experiences, both good and bad. First, I want to acknowledge the positives. I brought my 14-year-old cat here three times, including for a dental surgery in February. The surgery went well, and she recovered successfully, which I’m very grateful for. I also appreciated Dr. Willoughby, who took the time after the procedure to explain what was done and answer my questions. The reception staff were generally courteous and friendly. However, several experiences over time caused me to lose trust in the clinic. One issue was communication between staff. After my cat’s surgery, I was initially told by a receptionist that they had “just cleaned her teeth.” Later, I found out she had actually had two cavities treated. That inconsistency was concerning, especially given the cost and her symptoms at the time. The main reason for my review, however, is my experience with Dr. Landa. I saw him twice due to assignment, not choice, and in both visits I felt his handling of my cat was not as gentle as I would expect for a scared animal. On one visit, he removed her from her carrier in a way that made me uncomfortable, and I did not feel my concerns about her sensitivity were fully acknowledged. The most serious issue occurred after he prescribed antibiotics for an eye infection. I was told only to “make sure she eats some food” with the medication. The next morning, my cat vomited 3 times after taking it. This was extremely unusual for her. When I contacted the clinic, I was later told she should have eaten a full meal with the medication, which differed from what I was originally instructed. I was also told the doctor would call me back, but he never did. Instead, I was advised that continued vomiting could become an emergency. As a result, I spent the day closely monitoring her in distress, unsure whether the medication was harming her. It was a very stressful and frightening experience as a pet owner. What concerned me most was the lack of follow-up and communication during that time, especially given how quickly her condition changed. Honestly, I would not choose to see him again. We do have options when it comes to vets and doctors, and two experiences with him were enough for me. He may not be the worst doctor, but I believe there are other veterinarians who would handle my cat more gently and show more consistent care and attention. As pet owners, we rely on clear communication and trust when caring for our animals. Based on my experience, these issues made me reconsider returning to this clinic, and I hope this feedback is helpful for other pet owners making similar decisions.
