  Awful customer service! I came in with a return and the employee tried for over 30 minutes to do the return…asking for help from 3 different associates (2 of which were managers). The associate finally got a manager over for a second time to help him, the manager tried telling me that I had already received the refund???? I assure you I would not still be standing here if I had already received the refund. Then the manager told me the refund amount that comes up is a difference of $2, would that be ok with me because if it’s not he would have to get it out of his own pocket or the register would be short. I did not have the manager take the money out of his own pocket, I took the refund even though it was short and left!

  I would give zero stars if I could. I purchased one bag of dog food but was accidentally charged for two. I returned to the store and spoke with the manager, Umberto, who told me he needed to review the security cameras before issuing a refund. That was over a month ago. Since then, I have followed up multiple times and have repeatedly been told he will "get to it when he has time." Even one of the sales associates acknowledged that their register system occasionally double-rings items if it resets during a transaction. The issue is not the mistake itself. The problem is the complete lack of follow-through and customer service afterward. We have Vital Care memberships for five dogs and spend over $600 per month at Petco, yet a simple overcharge has been left unresolved for more than a month despite numerous conversations with management. Extremely disappointing experience. Customers should not have to repeatedly chase a store for a refund after being overcharged.

  I really like Petco, but today I returned simple green enzyme cleaner for artificial grass that was $43. They asked the reason I returned, I said on Amazon it was $16.97. they said that they don't match Amazon, which I totally understand and I expected to pay $4 or $5 dollars more at Petco. I was told by Robyn that Lowes has same price as us. Robyn said simple green sets price. I went home and found out even Lowe's only charges $19.97. Which is good to know if I need immediately I will pay $3.00 more. I guess by bringing to Petco attention, I was hoping they would look into it. Petco 32 oz spray is priced much higher than Lowe's and Amazon. I thought almost marked up to $30 would be something they would look into. I will still shop their and willing to pay a little higher for convenience, but I definitely check price after this experience.

  Poway PETCO is truly the best! They are accessible, helpful, knowledgable and the store is well stocked and easy to navigate. Thank you for taking care of my Baby.
