- JAJessica AldenMar 27, 20223.0They are just very expensive, if their prices where cheaper they would get 5 stsrs
- JZJudy ZimmermanFeb 12, 20195.0They are open every day, and my pets always have problems while the vet's office is closed. The vets are wonderful and everyone is very caring. This is a great veterinary office!
- JSJoan SonnerJan 4, 20165.0We have taken all of our animals to Best Friends, dogs, cats, and guinea pigs. Dr. Bob and his staff are always warm and caring with each of them, as well as with us. We are never rushed, everything is always well explained, and our pets are treated as well by the staff as they are by us! Our old dog has had some serious health issues, and we are so thankful to have Best Friends there for us to run tests, do exams, and give whatever treatment we decide on. I highly recommend their clinic/hospital to anyone who has a beloved pet and wants the best for them.
- DSdeborah sollohubApr 27, 20145.0I met "Dr. Bob" (McCool) soon after he opened his Poway office earlier this spring. I know a lot of vets throughout San Diego County, because I have worked with animals my whole life -- everything from hens to horses -- and foster a lot of homeless dog and puppies. Dr. Bob is amazing! Not only is he an excellent and experienced vet, he spends as much time as I need explaining what he is doing, what he recommends, his diagnosis, and his prognosis. Dr. Bob continuously exceeds my expectations when it comes to the care he gives my animals. He is kind, gentle, patient, and above all, really loves animals! His office is convenient, the staff welcoming, there is plenty of parking, and he tries hard to see people even on short notice when it is necessary. I have recommend him to many people and will continue to do so. He is wonderful and has taught me SO much about animal care and medicine, which has helped my rescues stay healthy and happy.
