  This is a review about how 2 people helped when nothing else worked, and I am sincerely appreciative, even tho it was a not so easy or friendly process. I recently hit a bump in the road personally and got behind on my pet vaccinations. So I was looking for some low cost options. I found "Vetco", a mobile vaccine/pet clinic for non emergency services thru Petco. My closest store is the Missouri Flat store so I booked an appointment online and took my cat and dog to get caught up on their shots. My dog needed heartworm meds, so she got a test and a prescription. Everything else with the clinic was great. The vet and the assistants were very nice and handled the pets with care. The issue came when I asked for their non go-to heartworm med. I had done my research and wanted the lowest cost one I could get and while they didn't carry it in store, they wrote me a prescription for it and said i could get it thru petco online. The next day, I placed the order. Rejected. I thought I did something wrong. I placed the order again. Rejected again. I called the number on the prescription, they walked me thru it. Rejected again. Hmmm.... I called back, they did some more magic, and the nice agent on that call helped me thru it again and made sure it went thru, and even called me back twice to ensure it had gone thru. His name was Josh. Five days later, I got an email from Petco saying they had contacted my clinic but had not heard back from them. So one week after placing my order I called the 877 number on the prescription again. This time they were not so helpful. I really didn't understand why I was being sent in circles. This agent told me to call the clinic where I had the service done, which was this store. I thought the number on the prescription was the clinic, but who knew! I called the store and got a nice man on the other end, Anthony, who listened to my story, was very patient, offered a few ideas but then said he would contact the head of the clinic personally and see what happened. Well, I don't specifically know what happened, but thank you Anthony for your patience and kindness and most importantly your care and customer service to this issue. Whatever you did worked and my prescription is on it's way 2 days later. The system has some bugs, apparently. But it came down to 2 helpful, knowledgeable and determined people that could actually fix the issue and help me. I didn't give 5 stars, because, like i said, this process should be seamless and my experience clearly exposed some issues. But they got 4 for the humans they do have and their service, in hopes they can improve and button up their workflow. BTW if you need any help, my specialty is in web site development and workflow improvement ;)

  All I can say is this place is great just know your audience and or choose wisely when emphasizing particularly when making heavy petting references....... Shalom

  This store is highly overrated. Their customer service is among the worste I've ever seen. It's almost as if employees go out of their way to ignore you or do work and more than once I've bought fish that ended up having some kind of sickness. Also had them sell me the wrong fish and was pretty unhappy about it

  I needed a halter for a new puppy. The person who helped me was very knowledgeable and very nice. My shopping experience was quick and easy which is great when you have a squirming puppy in your arms.

  I have found the vet services very affordable and convenient. Was surprised that the vet remembered our rescued pups doggy story and was just as concerned and caring as the 1st visit. Then found four big bags of high society large breed pup chow, and bird feed at the clearance area for very affordable price. I never thought much of Petco before, but they are our go to now.
