  Pleasantly surprised. I don’t typically use a vet service inside a pet store but I was able to get a same day appointment, which I can’t do at my regular vet. The staff was great, super friendly and professional. The vet was very gentle with my nervous dog. They didn’t try to upsell me on services I don’t need and didn’t ask for, and that was refreshing. All-in-all a very positive experience. I will be a return customer.

  They did a great job! However, Pet care across the board is so expensive though, it's not just Vetco, it's everywhere.

  Warning that Petco will cancel your appointment if you don’t answer their call the morning of your appointment.. would be nice to know that a phone confirmation is REQUIRED when booking an appointment online. Wish I would have known that before loading up my twin toddlers and foster dog that hates the car. Not the first time I’ve been less than pleased with the customer service & policies here, but it will be the last.
