  They have a decent selection, prices aren't too amazing which is expected from chains these days. But, there's a younger girl working here that really shouldn't be allowed to deal with customers, she's very rude and has this vibe like because she has a job dealing with animals and knows a bit more about them than you that she's better than you and you shouldn't be allowed to own animal's because she's the decider of who get to have pets. It's really easy to give people information about animals without it coming off like "you should have already known this you idiot". Too many young people just have 0 customer service skills. I do instacart so i come here every couple days and will not be doing my personal shopping here again until i have seen for an extended period that she's gone.

  The groomer lady who checked me in with the short curly hair is amazing and gave me instructions to stick around which I should’ve followed this is my first time bringing in my dog. I don’t do the appointments my partner does and they told me they usually take him and run a couple errands and come back for him. the girl who checked me out spoke to me in a dehumanizing manner made me feel like a bad dog owner because i stepped out of petco and ran to Ulta next door to grab something when i was told it would be ok to because his appointment is 15-20mins. It was a mistake and misunderstanding on my part but the groomers body language was very passive aggressive she obviously pissed at me by her tone and volume. She told me what made me think it would be OK to do that. I stepped out for 10 minutes. It’s not like I left for an hour and had them babysit my dog she told me making a mistake like that would result in not being able to bring my dog back I wouldn’t want to jeopardize this for my dog Or my partner, if I knew this would be the result it was simply a mistake, a misunderstanding, which I tried to explain to her . She then even walked out from behind the counter so I can show her who told me it was OK to leave not only did I feel bad for the employee who told me it was OK to leave because I didn’t want Her to talk to them the way she was talking to me .I was super uncomfortable and didn’t want to interact with her anymore. This girl has serious issues and needs To learn patience and customer service skills I don’t trust her with my dog. Her Coworker working with her is the groomer we usually See . I do trust her she is very sweet never had problems with her in the past. Once again, I feel like I need to apologize for not following instructions. If I had knew this would be the result, and if I was told by the other employee, it was best advice for me to stay I would have never left.

  Extremely disappointed !!! I went to Purchase a medium size frozen rat in Paso Robles Theater Drive store. the frozen Rat must’ve been defrosted somewhere along the line. It was a total disgusting mess when I defrosted it to feed my snake it made a huge mess when I picked it up with the tongs and tried to present it to my snake.! I had to clean up the entire snake habitat ! and dispose of the rotting corpse!!. called the store the day after to find out about receiving a better specimen, and because I did not take a receipt, they said they can do nothing for me on receiving another rat. I’m sure there are other rats and frozen specimens that must’ve been defrosted somewhere along the delivery and rotted out and they got refrozen. I will not be returning to the store to purchase Anything in in the future. I will go elsewhere for my future since Needs ! Since they will not take care of the problem and it cost me a big hassle, dealing with the Rotten specimen. Very disappointed, lost a customer and I hope other people read this review. i’m also guessing there’ll be other Spoiled frozen rats to be had. Sean Walker Cambria, California

  Terrible service, especially with the dog groomer, I only called to find out status of my pet and was told she was busy caring for 7 other dogs and for me to be patient. And she did NOT say this kindly. I thought I should help her out by coming and getting my dog so she could care for the others. She sounded angry and I would not want to allow my dog or any dog to be taken care of by her in the angry mind that she had. I don't recommend taking your dog or cat to this groomer for the simple reason they seem very unorganized and really rude when they are under pressure.
