  We've brought our cats to Vetco Pasadena for several years, and Dr. Pohl and the entire team have always been wonderful to work with. We couldn't ask for a more compassionate veterinary practice. What stands out most is the kindness and empathy shown by everyone on staff, especially Jasmine. During a very difficult time saying goodbye to one of our cats, they treated both him and our family with genuine care, patience, and respect. They thoughtfully had us handle checkout and arrangements for his paw prints beforehand so we could focus entirely on his final moments. We are deeply grateful for the support we received and highly recommend Dr. Pohl and the Vetco Pasadena team.

  Terrible terrible place. Took my cat here because I’m not sure exactly what was wrong with him wasn’t eating. Vet didn’t want to even see him because they could not find my appointment, which then they found it. Then without even checking my cat even if there was a “possible blockage” they just gave me the run around. Never ever ever coming back here ever again .

  I just wanted to thank Dr. Sharp and the whole staff for their extraordinary care to our little 7 pound 11 year old chihuahua. From the time of our dental consultation up to procedure / surgery, Dr. Sharp and the staff provided a delicate touch, empathy (I had past trauma with a bad vet) and step by step care. The reason this rating gets 5 stars is because I never felt pressured into services I didn't need. They included me in all decisions and they carefully explained the cost. They also called the day after my pups surgery to see how she's doing. We live roughly 10 miles from this vet and I came away with such confidence that I want to make Dr. Sharp our vet. Thank you team!

  My cat started showing symptoms that looked like asthma about a week ago, and I was really worried. I did a lot of research and looked into nearby animal hospitals, reading through reviews and comparing prices, but honestly, I couldn’t fully trust any of them. Then I came across Vetco inside Petco, and something about it made me feel like it might be a good option. I booked an appointment through the app, and the process was very easy. On the day of the visit, my cat got car sick and threw up, which made me arrive about 15 minutes late. I explained the situation to the front desk, and they were very kind and understanding. They even checked with the doctor and still allowed me to be seen. The waiting time wasn’t long, and everything went smoothly. The doctor was friendly and explained everything clearly and in detail. In the end, my cat was diagnosed with asthma and was prescribed a few medications. The cost didn’t shock me at all—I had already prepared myself knowing that treatment can be expensive. Overall, I found the pricing to be reasonable. I would definitely recommend this place and their services, and I’ll be coming back again in the future.
