  I have been to many vets over the years and East Bay Veterinary Clinic hits the sweet spot for quality vet care, friendly front desk staff, and reasonable prices. They are also one of the only vets in the East Bay that will see small animals.

  The staff here is extremely kind, friendly, and helpful. The facility is very well kept. Services were rather quick. I will say, It’s unfortunate that they do not offer payment plans (it’s totally understandable), but the vet tech was very helpful and offered names for assistance programs that you can apply for if needed. Overall, I would definitely recommend this clinic to my friends and family who may be looking for a place.

  There’s no parking in the area, they lost my appointment which they had confirmed with me on the phone the previous day and they were almost an hour late to our appointment time (this seems like a common complaint from other reviews ). If all of those things are manageable for your lifestyle then this is a fine place for you, but i found it very disrespectful . Care was fine once it took place but took forever to occur and I won’t be coming back.

  They don’t have the fanciest facility but all staffs are very friendly and responsible. And they might be the most affordable vet in Easy Bay: I was trying to do a rabies titer test where all other places quote me for over $1000. But this place offers an affordable option for just a little over $200. The price difference is just insane! Highly recommend if you are looking for a vet that won’t rip you off.

  I have not been to this clinic with my current dog for a very long time because he never gets sick. However, we had a great experience several years ago when my daughter's little dog. His foot became painful and it seemed that he had a Foxtail in his foot. No one could find it. It took two visits, but one of the veterinarians here managed to find it and extract it. The Foxtail was in the process of traveling up his foot and was at that point embedded halfway up his leg his leg was extremely swollen. On the day it was removed the swelling began to go down. Tragedy averted, the dog, fully recovered, and we have been forever grateful. The same dog was seen for a different problem (ear ripped by another dog) for a surgical repair the day the emergency occurred. This practice is also extremely convenient because they are open on weekends and it's pretty easy to get a quick appointment with a cancellation. Highly recommend.
