I had only been to Midtown veterinarian clinic once before my dog was in a dog fight with blood all over her. I just got her leash and took her straight to the vet. I had no appointment just obviously very shook up and Mike took one look at my dog, panting and bleeding and me in shock and just took us in the back right away where very much so checking her out and seeing if she was OK and the suggestions that they had to let the wound be open to drain with antibiotics and rabies shot and just they thought that would be least invasive for my dog and they were so right today. Four days later she is doing much better thanks too Midtown veterinary clinic.

Last week we made our first visit post-ownership change. I'll start with the improvements:
1) Prices for prescription meds seem to be much more competitive with online prices.
2) Before we did anything, I was given a list of tests and prices so I could choose for myself which combination made the most sense. I appreciated that transparency.
However, in the past my dog has always been well-loved and cared for by all of the staff at Midtown. She actually enjoyed going there because of all the attention and affection she received. New vet/staff immediately labeled her as "extremely nervous" and instead of taking a minute to say hi and put her at ease, they treated her like Hannibal Lecter the whole visit. It was a completely different experience, and neither one of us cared for it.
A secondary issue is that they were quite slow. I waited in the exam room nearly 30 minutes before seeing the vet, and the whole visit took well over an hour. Under old management if I had a 4 pm appt I was home by 4:30.
Overall, it’s not bad, but it’s not what it used to be.

I really appreciate how thoughtful, knowledgeable, and attentive the new vet is. He really made sure I understood all the options for our dog's care. The detailed notes are a much appreciated change from the previous vet.

Staff has been extremely supportive and helpful as we navigate our 9 year old lab with multiple spine and aging injuries Dr Hoffman is thorough and explained in depth a treatment plan moving forward. I am very happy with midtown and all the new changes are positive.
