Staff are helpful and friendly. Nice selection too.
My wife and I brought our two dogs in today to Vetco inside Petco for vaccinations, but the vet’s behavior made the entire experience completely unacceptable. He checked our Doberman Rottweiler’s temperature without any issue, but when he abruptly tried to check her heart she became nervous and tried to move toward me. She did not growl, bark, snap, or show aggression. She was simply anxious. Despite this, the assistant immediately said, “We need to muzzle her,” even though she had done nothing wrong. I then mentioned to the vet tech I am not going to muzzle my dog when she did nothing wrong. The vet then falsely claimed, “Well, your dog went after me,” which never happened. When I corrected him, he laughed and smirked. My wife explained she had been abused before we rescued her but instead of showing empathy, he questioned us, “Why was she abused?” as if we should know. Doberman Rottweiler mixes already suffer from heavy stereotypes, and he treated her like a threat based solely on her breed, not her behavior. My wife requested to cancel the appointment and asked for the vet's name. He refused and said, “For what, because your dog tried to bite me?” which was another lie. The vet tech also refused to provide his name, so we took a picture to get his last name. We spoke to the Vetco manager and explained we had driven over 45 minutes to get there. She apologized but brushed off the situation and suggested we can go to another location closer to home. When we explained what happened, she said, “Well, I wasn’t looking and didn’t see that,” implying the exchange between the vet and my wife did not occur. This vet lied about our dog, reinforced harmful breed stereotypes, refused to identify himself, and questioned us about her abuse history inappropriately. The vet tech refused to give his name, and the manager dismissed our concerns instead of addressing them. I would never trust this clinic with any animal. If a vet cannot handle a nervous dog without lying, stereotyping, refusing to identify himself, or avoiding accountability, he should not be working with animals at all.

I recently visited Petco and had a genuinely great experience from the moment I walked in. The store was clean, organized, and well stocked with a huge variety of products for pets of all kinds. Whether you’re shopping for dogs, cats, reptiles, fish, birds, or small animals, they really seem to carry everything you might need in one place, which makes shopping convenient and stress-free.
What stood out the most to me was the customer service. The staff were friendly, approachable, and actually took the time to answer questions instead of just pointing me toward an aisle. You can tell many of the employees genuinely care about animals and enjoy helping customers find the right products for their pets. That kind of service makes a big difference, especially for new pet owners who may need guidance.
I was also impressed by the quality and variety of products available. From premium pet foods and treats to toys, grooming supplies, tanks, bedding, and health products, there were options for different budgets without sacrificing quality. The grooming area also looked professional and well maintained, and the pets being serviced seemed calm and cared for.
Another thing I appreciated was the atmosphere of the store. It felt welcoming, pet-friendly, and easy to navigate without feeling overcrowded or chaotic. Shopping there felt more enjoyable than rushed, which isn’t always the case at larger retail stores.
Overall, I would definitely recommend Petco to anyone looking for quality pet supplies, knowledgeable staff, and a positive shopping experience. Whether you’re a first-time pet owner or someone who treats their pets like family, this is a store that genuinely helps make caring for animals easier and more enjoyable.

Waited 15 minutes for my pickup order before I decided to go in and grab my order myself just to find no lines at the registers and the cashiers just standing there. No cart was provided so I was made to carry my over 40 pound order myself, no effort to help even though they saw me struggling. Poor customer service.

Avoid groomer Oksana. I took my dalmatian there last month and she came home smelling fresh, clean, soft.
I took her there today because we were so pleased with the last service but today we had a different Groomer. She came home, shedding all over like she hadn’t even been groomed and smelled like wet dog. I called to ask if maybe with the Groomer was new or they changed their shampoo and she said nope everything was the same and no solution was given. We will not be coming back
