  Well stocked and pleasant employees. I usually see customers being assisted and getting whatever they need; ie fish, find petco #, or do exchanges. I have the Petco membership and feel like it's beneficial. I use my discount coupons monthly. They also have the groomers section... which I groom my own dog but use the nail clips every so often when needed.

  I really like looking at all the different animals in petco. The kittens are cute, the hamsters are fluffy, the birds are colourful, the turtles are magnificent, the mice are adorable, the snakes are awesome, and the lizards are cool. However, the best part of this particular petco is the fish. The tanks have a nostalgiacore aesthetic and look really cool through the lens of a digital camera. The fish are just fun too watch and I really enjoy going there just for that.

  If it weren't for the depressingly poor small animal wellness, I would give five stars, but over the past five years, the goldfish, koi, betta and mice constantly need better medical attention and hygine, the koi and goldfish arrive from shipper starved, then even if the employees notice and give extra care which they don't, they suffer and die in large numbers. They seem very disposable. I have had to report many times to staff that fish or mice are sick, injured or without food . I bought a young koi that was skin and bones to try to save it as the other two were already dead and lodged in the filter, he died the same night despite the best care. They should buy fish from responsible breeders, stock fewer mice and goldfish, clean the cages more often and don't support the small animal mills. I will say that the parakeets always look pretty happy there thank god. I honestly wouldn't go there anymore but my chickens are addicted to the awesome chicken food they sell there.I also left an extra star because they help the homeless kittens. I am happy to change my review when you fix this petco, .

  I've enjoyed coming here for years and not just because I used to work next door at WFM. Everyone was great... I like how the older man always asked me how Yuki was doing (my cat) and I'm going to miss seeing Ray Rays beautiful hair. Unfortunately Yuki has passed so I'll no longer come here :( P.S you have limited parking because the WFM mgmt told us that we can park at our own risk where your store is if we're "running late" Thanks for everything

  I have a 5 year old Chihuahua/Italian Greyhound. Like most owners of dogs or, any kind of pet, her happiness, health and welfare are one of my top priorities. She brings me so much joy and makes me smile even, when I don't want to. Keeping her nails trimmed is important to me and, I feel very lucky to have found Petco Grooming Salon in Sand City. As one walks in the door, there is a feeling of security and calmness. The groomers, are totally concentrated on the pet that is being treated and they are gentle, and loving with each one. In many ways, it is a joy to watch a groomer work on a dog. The care and the attention to detail is so evident. Rosie for now, only gets her nails done but, if she needed more care than that, Petco would be her grooming salon. My thanks to all the groomers, who have taken care of Rosie and, again I am a happy woman to have such a place for Rosie when her nails need to be trimmed. PS A shout out to the clerks in the store. They are kind and customer care is important to them too. Good Job!! one of my priorities.
