  There’s a worker named Laura at the montebello location and she is very professional in handling the reptiles, I’ve bought tarantulas from her and the way she handles them does not stress them out. Very knowledgeable on how to take care of them as well, due to her, I been purchasing my pets from this location. On the other hand there is this other lady who is the manager, it’s odd how she is a manager when she doesn’t know what she is doing.

  Great customer service and my dogs leave looking like rockstars EVERY TIME :) Alexa does an amazing job with them and is so loving towards them. Highly recommend Alexa for all your pet grooming needs.

  ​I booked a grooming appointment well in advance, only to have them cancel on me at the absolute last minute due to a mistake on their end. When I called to clear up the issue, instead of taking accountability or trying to make things right, the staff member just offered non-stop excuses. ​When I mentioned that I’ve never had an issue like this at the Whittier Petco location, she dismissed it by claiming her store is far busier than Whittier and that they only have two stylists. She repeatedly kept saying she was "too busy" to deal with the situation and tried to force me into a later time instead of accommodating the mistake they made on my original booking. ​If a store is understaffed, disorganized, and incapable of taking responsibility or speaking to customers respectfully, they shouldn't be taking appointments. Save yourself the headache and take your pet somewhere that values your time.
