- KCKayla CorderoSep 20, 20261.0I took my dog in yesterday for her grooming appointment, Little to say, I was not happy at all with her haircut. I was told if I wanted the same haircut from her last grooming appointment and her last grooming appointment was in August. And I said, I want the same haircut that the last time she came. When I saw her come out, I was not happy with her haircut. They shaved off all her hair. when explaining that I was not happy about my dog’s haircut Adriana was telling me that I needed to make sure that her chart is updated from her last grooming appointment. But I have no access to their notes. so how can I check. So instead of them updating their chart with notes from August, they went back all the way from the notes from June. I feel it is not my responsibility, nor can I see if they updated their notes in the grooming area for the next time. They agreed to give me a discount for the next time she comes in for a grooming appointment, so hopefully they are able to keep their word.

- MGMrs, GyovannaApr 24, 20261.0I had a really disappointing experience at the Madera Petco grooming salon. I came in with a scheduled appointment for a haircut and wash for my puppy, but the groomer (her name started with “A”) kept trying to add on extra services I didn’t ask for. When I declined, she wasn’t helpful or accommodating at all. I also mentioned that I didn’t want my puppy kept in a kennel for over an 1 hour like she mentioned, and she told me that would cost an additional $20 for VIP services). By that point, the total was approaching $100, which felt unreasonable for what I originally requested. On top of that, she said my pet would need to stay for over two hours, which wasn’t communicated beforehand. Overall, the experience felt frustrating and disappointing. Petco used to be one of my favorite places, but after this visit, I’m not sure I’ll be returning for grooming services. Zero stars. There was only four staffs members in the whole store.
